Ahhh - the kryptonite of anyone that likes a clean car. The @#$%^& interior windshield. I know, I know. Its hard to clean since the interior "out-gasses" stuff that collects on the inside glass. Your breath, boogers, sweat, leather gasses, plastic shmeckis, whatever. I know. Its NOT enough just to do a quick wipe with glass cleaner & paper towel.
That said, even trying various methods that come from gurus and smart people, in the morning when sunlight peeks through the garage windows and hits my windshield at the right angle, I am often shocked at how "filmy" or streaky what normally appears as clean glass really is. Ive confirmed its the inside glass thats filmy/streaky/shitty. I was like...
This drives me insane. So, what I *think* might have at least gotten me off the edge of the cliff was:
Cleaning the interior glass (again) using a weave micro towel and distilled/water vinegar mix(like 1:10 ratio). Then, a Sprayaway glass cleaner treatment which still left some hazing. Then, A quality waterless wash with HARD rubbing & subsequent buffing seems to have removed the hazing & towel fibers. Mostly. I dont see the hazing and streaking now. At least, I hope I dont.
I just cant believe how dumb I am or hard this is.
. And, it has to be done fairly often as the interior glass will always collect "junk" on it. Oy Vey. I think Im OK now....
