SALE PENDING I was involved in an accident recently where a Camry pulled out in front of me. I ended up buying the car back mostly to be able to get my mods off but I'll have to decide if I want to rebuild it myself or let someone else and that will depend on if someone is interested in buying it at this state.
Pre accident:
120k miles, good overall condition inside and out. Rod bearings done at 111k miles, have receipt. No mechanical issue, no CEL light. Black interior, double hump.
Post accident:
The car hasn't made it to my house yet for more thorough inspection. The engine shut off immediately so it wasn't run without fluids. Obviously coolant on the ground so expect to replace radiator and condenser. I didn't see any oil on the ground.
Steering wheel and passenger curtain airbags popped.
Drives side frame rail has a bend in it forward of about the shock tower and drivers side shock tower is pushed towards the cab slightly. So, some unibody work will be needed to repair.
I will be removing my mods and replacing with stock parts where I have them.
I don't have muffler section.
I don't have stock wheels so the Apex Arc 8's will stay.
M Performance steering wheel with display may stay.
At $12000 this should be a low risk scenario since if you decide to not rebuild you could make your money back on selling the engine and transmission.
