Really depends what you're looking for, I only needed it for driving and wanted it to look as OEM as possible, so I went with the FitcamX:

If you're looking for the best of the best, I'd recommend a BlackVue.

any top rated dash cam from amazon should work well. if you don't already run one, i'd recommend just buying one temporarily to while you decide on the actual one you want.

Have had two viofo cams so far.

If you’re in a very hot/cold climate, it uses a capacitor instead of a battery, improving thermal tolerance.

Viofo cameras are great. Highly recommend.

As car as China dashcam brands go, I prefer DDPAI as they have the best mic pickup. Records my trackday S65 noises very well without static or breakup. Do not get Xiaomi dashcam if recorded audio quality is important.
