Track pad recommendations please

The PF01s eat your rotors alive with street driving in cool weather. Not sure if the PF08s will do the same thing.

My PF01s lasted 2 weekends. I think the PF08 or a similar endurance pad is a better option for the E9X M3.

Same here! That's what i run and they stop great, i have the Cantrell ducting up front which helps dissipate the heat. Only bad thing is the Carbotech's do not last very long. I only get about 3 track days out of the fronts and they ain't cheap. Rears I probably get 6 or so days i guess.

Pagid r-19's aren't cheap but I get 10-14 track days on my fronts.....

Yandy. Do you just zip tie the brake pad sensor when running your pads? I have a set of carbox12/10 and im just dying waiting for the end of the month.

The PF08's will last a hell of a lot longer than two weekends. They have the initial torque of the 01 w/ the endurance (actually, longer I've been told) than the 06. It's an awesome pad. I run them all around on the E90M3, but I don't do that many track events anymore.

The E46M3 with the 06's have a ton of track time on them and they still have a lot of life left in them. PFC rotors, Ohlin SA shocks, Eibach springs, RE11s, instructor level driver.

yea, I always have my sensors zip tied, they stay out of the way and avoid errors. I'm always checking or swapping pads, so not really useful for me.

I can recommend then. In theory, they should pay for themselves over 20 years based on the current sales price...

They appear to have made a huge difference at NHMS and VIR this season to wear rate and pedal feel during runs.

I've been running PF-08's all season (4 Events)! Can't say enough about them, great/consistent bite, great life (barely lost any thickness), and the rotors seem fine.

Yup, already look into that. On my 330, I went 8.5 weekends on PF01s with my Stoptech BBK and ducts so I have no doubt that ducts will help.

I do firmly believe that PFC 01/06/08 are hard on rotors and hear crack them really bad. IMO, that's where pagid beats the pants off of PF.

Thanks for all the feedback. Ordered PFC08s...have very high expectations! A friend just picked up Pagid RS-29s so it'll be interesting to compare our wear rates.

Hello everyone, I would like ask you about endless pads for my m3 e92 competition.
I finally decided to buy Endless pads. After recommendation from Endless Europer - the best suitable pads for M3 e92 is M22 compound (even better initial bite, friction average and heat resistant than favorite ME20), Iam 100% sure to go for ME22 into the front axle but somebody recommends to put stock BMW pads to rear due if you put endless pads to rear - too agressive during braking, even oversteer.
Endless Europe recommend me ME22 in front and ME20 to rear (little bit less bite than ME22 and perfect for rear axle together with ME22 in front).

Any idea? Do you run same Endless compound all around or it´s normal to put stock pads on rear axle?

I use PFC12 pads, the updated PFC08 compound. Absolutely love them. You'd have to pay me to try something else

Regardless of the various ghetto-mod options people use and somehow survive, you should use the same compound front and rear.

The car has a defined brake bias. If you change the types of pads in different axles you will be significantly altering it.

I use Hawk DTC-70 for the track and I love em. They seem to last for a long time, and braking performance is always consistent. The only problem is they squeal terribly on the street but it goes away at the track. I switch back to my street pads after a track day.

As SYT corrected noted - you will be changing your brake bias. Which is not a good thing unless you really understand what you are doing.
