Thanks mate, was just seeing what type of price you got it for as it's rather exxy.

Awesome build btw!
Exotic light weight materials are not cheap to purchase, and then when you see this ///M exhaust in person and feel how light it is compared to say the 335i bmw PE you can see why its twice the price of that system.

But yes at the end of the day it is a fair lump of $, but you're driving a M3 after all and since its a bmw item it will help maintain the peace with the dealers in case of a warranty issue! :)

This build is going to have a lot of other M3 owners green with envy!
Well... After a pretty productive day the build is almost coming to an end.

Planing to dyno to see what the current output is, but fkn fast is how I'd describe. No idea why I need a SC..

The interior is pretty much done, the exterior is yet to be lowered and a front and rear kit if vorsteiner ever decide to make something (3x months and counting)

Interested to hear what you think of the toe hook?

Looks like your all ready for a day on the track :-)

The car is coming together nicely, It will be interesting to see the stance once the suspension is done. Need some rear end shots of the 305's on the back.

There's one above of teh back with the 305 PSS's and better shot on the first page of the thread.

Yes, but I meant when the suspension is done. The car really comes to life once it's lowered, I think it really has a big impact on the appearance

Oh my badd sorry. Yeah it will look awesome! Definitely my favorite color for an M3!
Yeah I would actually say... And I can't actually believe I'm going to write this, but the rears actually look too big?! It almost looks like a 4x4 at the back.

Lowered with the springs combined with the diffuser kit will make it look much lower and your right Dave, the stance should be perfect.
Looking good man. Re tow hook, now you just have to track it. Do you think 305's will clear fenders when lowered?

They are the same wheels we have. I was going to use 305s and with our offsets it ended up giving about 5-8mm clearance on the outside. Had it checked by a tyre specialist and on the hoist at Motorline.
Couldn't get the 305's and as mine were worn to the canvas :confused0068: had to get 295s... couldn't wait the extra month!

How's the monster going? got a few K's up yet... the guys in CA were asking after you
How's the audio upgrade dammit!!??

U doing the track day tomorrow? Would have loved to have seen the beast in action but I'm in Bali. My mate in his CSL will be there. Give him a run for the money! :) be safe
Yeah track tomorrow with the new go pro kit.. I have an epic vid in my mind, hopefully it turns out alright.

Is that a silver CSL? Think I've seen it on a forum, be an honor to track with a CSL that's for sure.

Catch up with you perth guys in the new year,

Ahh I didn't think the 305's would fit. I'll get them next then, was thinking the nitto's. The conti 5P's have been superb. I checked mine and I actually have considerable tread left so will have then a while longer yet.

I've only done a bit over 100km so far but driving it like a Camry. Can definitely notice the low end torque though. It's getting smoother and smoother though but sounds great during cold starts. The new tune also made a noticeable difference with the lumpy idle too.

Good to see another modified M3 build :)

Barbagello, a group called 'no limits' organises them quite regularly. Around $100 + cams. I'll send you an invite to the next one.

Turns out I actually know Adnan from way, way back.. We use to work together.

He had a good couple of seconds on me (I blame the race. Rubber).

Great day, shame an RX7 dumped oil over the entire track so only had limited runs. Also the go pros didn't work out.. You only get like 30 mins battery!! So fixing that up.
It's always the rotarys haha.

Race rubber is normally worth 2 seconds.
