US///M3 wroteAwesome! Do you only collect commercial jets, or all kinds? I've always loved planes, I was an intern for the USAF and worked on the C-5 Galaxy and also interned at Gulfstream working on their G250/350/450 and the 650 before releaseAircraft models.
kscarrol wroteHAHA...sorry!^^ Ha! I chimed in early on with something other than shoes but quickly got left behind as the Air Jordan's overwhelmed the thread...
I also have a crazy POG collection and some nice Basketball and Baseball cards...of course I have a Jordan basketball card! haha
There in boxes stored away so not sure if I'll find the will to post them.
MetsFan wroteDo you build any of the Lego sets? I've got a couple sets myself, but I don't know if I want to go ahead and start collecting.I collect Lego, video games, and movies
This is my favorite. I thought about buying another one and keeping it in the box in case the collector value goes up like some of the older star wars sets. Saw it at a Lego store once and decided I had to have it based on the size alone, I'm not that big of a Star Wars fan.
Decided to nerd out and watch the whole saga as I built it and thats exactly how long it took. Started building when episode 1 started and put the last part on as episode 6 ended, 13 hours for 3152 pieces.

I collect:
-Star Wars novels (not comics) - I have most of the ones written since 1977.
-Star Wars Legos - not really anymore, but I do have a decent collection of the ones made up until 2001 including the big Ultimate Collection TIE Interceptor (#7181) model which are quite valuable nowadays.
-Physical music CDs for artists I really like; I make it a mission to collect everything they've produced which has always proved challenging mainly because often no complete list of what they produced exists. Currently trying to collect all of BT's music.

Nate4641 wroteOh yeah, they're still in boxes though since I haven't taken them out since I moved a couple months ago. That is an awesome set and I can definitely see it increasing in value.Do you build any of the Lego sets? I've got a couple sets myself, but I don't know if I want to go ahead and start collecting.

My favorites are the large scale architectural series models. I have the Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, and the Tower Bridge. The Taj Mahal took my wife and I about 16 hours!
finally found a pic of the other cars I bought. Got these at Nurgburgring. Some were cheap, others...not quite.

Theres Sebastian Vittel's redbull F1, McLaren F1, 911 GT 3, MB DTM (cant remember the model), LFA GT car, GTR GT car, McLaren F1 racecar, Audi (cant remember model) racecar, and lamborghini murcielago sv

I used to collect BMW sales brochures, but when I moved from a larger house to the current smaller house a couple of years ago, I ended up selling the bulk of the collection including brochures from the early 1990s to about 2015.
BMW discontinued the distribution of sales brochures some years ago, but I have found that eBay sellers in Poland still sell English language brochures -- or at least did a couple of years ago. I bought a few used (but immaculate) brochures for models that interested me.
