So I was on my way to test a bunch of BMWs and unfortunately I saw a Mercedes / Land Rover dealer displaying their Volvo EX90.

I sat inside it and now it's ruined my car ownership BMW predilection.

These things I cannot find in any BMW my country is able to sell me.

amazing sound system (Bowers and Wilkins atmos!) - only have HK and it's not good. (My G30 has B&W and yeah even that is worlds apart)

3 adults across the middle row - X7 can't do that even (i have full sized 3 teenagers with ice hockey gear!)

round steering wheel that is not thick as a tree - i'm a simple man!

I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Meanwhile I'm gonna live off my M550i and I am desperately trying to find something stop me getting into the EX90 ... maybe need to focus on how bad touch screens are without physical buttons ... that's it! Just get a F90 Comp!

So far I've looked at the X3, iX3, X7, X5 M60i - the most relaxing was the iX3 !

Be warned, if you like sound systems and round things do not get into a EX90!

Because I got into one in April and it's ruined me...

I have the Sensafin vinyl seats not leather. I have been using Dr Beasley’s to clean and condition the soft and hard vinyl areas. At first when I detail it looks good but within a day or 2 the white spots come back.

I already asked Dr Beasley’s about it and they said it would not be from the product.

I would like to hear any recommendations for how to remove the spots and favorite conditioners for this type of interior.

The Revuelto SV still uses a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 combined with three electric motors and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, but Lamborghini managed to eke out even more power.
The SV produces 1050 horsepower and 1051 pound-feet of torque, which is 49 more horsepower and seven pound-feet of torque.
That lofty output makes the 2027 Revuelto SV the most powerful production Lamborghini of all time.

I'm located in WA and recently leased a 2026 i4 from a dealer in CA (was delivered, so never driven in CA). However, the registration process has been confusing - the dealer has said that BMW is supposed to send us titling information that we can take to the DMV (or in our case the local licensing agency since DMV doesn't do vehicle registration here), but we haven't received anything for a few weeks now, and when we talked to BMW Financial Services, they made it sound like it was completely up to the dealer to take care of registration. I wanted to know if anyone had experience registering a leased car in WA from out of state, or any other cross-state experience, so I can understand what is supposed to happen?

As a college professor, I understand I get more frustrated with my kids' high school than most parents. I've had 4 kids go through this school district, which is "exemplary-rated" - not saying much in TX.

I've had a daughter physically assaulted & was caught on camera yet the boy (much wealthier family than I) received no repercussions.

I've gone back & forth with the Principal because the students don't receive their graded work back, can't see what they missed on exams, teachers don't input grades until the end of the quarter, etc. "They may share their homework or tests with their friends & cheat".

Still three of my children have gone on to college, received very large scholarships, and are doing well in life.

My youngest is a senior this year, and already there are issues. He was supposed to take an honors anatomy & physiology course junior year but his counselor forgot to put it on his schedule. By the time they send out schedules - 1 week before school starts - he realized he didn't have the class. They said it was too late to add it.

He was also supposed to take 2 dual-credit college courses that the counselor "forgot" to enroll him in. The college instructor said he could still add, but his HS said it was past the deadline :mad0260:

Last Spring arrives & he meets with his counselor to select his senior classes & makes sure to have the A&P class on his schedule. Well guess what, received his schedule last week & no A&P class.

He fills out the required google form for schedule changes immediately & also emails now his new counselor - no response. School sent out new schedules the morning of the 1st of school with any changes - still no A&P course.

He went to see his counselor in-person & got turned away, "they aren't taking appointments". Filled out another schedule change request form - no response. I emailed the counselor - no response. He emailed the teacher of the A&P class, no response.

I have over 300 students in my classes each semester & respond to student emails within 24 hours (most times much sooner than that). That's on top of my department meetings, teaching classes all day, labs, working with my TAs, grading, etc.

I try not to be "that parent" but this crap frustrates the hell out of me. I know they are not that busy that they can't respond to students, especially when it impacts their next steps.

My son is applying to very competitive colleges & the A&P class is important for his intended major.

I will be ecstatic when I no longer have to deal with this school.

I decided to keep the 2011 335 Xdrive for now, over spending $60K for either a 2026 Tesla Model Y Performance, a 2024 X540i, or 2025 M340 Xdrive.

I have addressed most of all the issues on the 335 and its a great daily driver and I appreciate it more that its more rare too.
I have addressed most of all the issues on the 335 and its a great daily driver and I appreciate it more that its more rare too.

Completed:
-OFHG
-Valve Cover Gasket
-New Belts, and Pulleys
-New Alternator
-New Battery
-New Footwell module (failed when battery ran low)
-Changed Front, Rear Differential fluids, and Transfer Case Fluid

Needs:
-Oil pan gasket
-Front Differential started whining
-Rod Bearings? With Mileage, should be done with Oil pan gasket

I have quote for $3500 to do oil pan gasket and Rod bearings from reputable BMW shop. Would have to add the Front Diff work on top of that price too. Pushing close to the $8K-$9K retail value, which Is OK because If I sell I can ask for top price with all the work done.

The only mods it has is Dinan Springs, Bilsteins, and MHD S1.

When I’m parked, driving slowly, or steering to full lock, I can hear the noise in the video, and can feel the shaking and strain in the wheel; I’ve replaced power steering fluid and reservoir but not the pump itself. Any ideas what this could be? I’m planning on doing a suspension refresh soon but haven’t done it yet.

I've been trying to solve this issue for a few months, and honestly I've been let down quite a bit with false fixes. I've read through 100's of threads and found some common themes, which I've tried to address.

I've checked for leaks using a smoke test and changed all gaskets and seals that were leaking.

I changed the map sensor on the charge pipe and then cleaned the map sensor on intake manifold and the MAF.

I changed the vacuum lines on the boost solenoid and replaced the solenoid about 4 years ago (car sat for 2/4 years).

I changed out the purge valve and associated breather hose as this was what chatgpt recommended (I wanted to see if what chatgpt recommended would help, but as you and I know, that was an utter fail, smh)

And finally, I tried BMW's service bulletin about resetting the purge valve (eg idle for 15 min).

After this reset, I drove the car and thought all was going well. Car drove fine for a day without triggering a check engine light. So I left the car sitting overnight, and went to sleep with some confidence.

Well, the next morning when I had started the car, the dreaded check engine light came on.:mad0259:

I've performed this reset several times, and the check engine light always comes on after the car sits for a couple of hours or more.

After writing all of that my question is: What do you think can cause this to happen? Is the pressure not being released somehow? Is it a faulty tmap sensor or MAF?

The code is passive according to ISTA.

My next steps are too use ISTA to check sensor values, check if the Valvetronic is working and perform another smoke test.

Any thoughts are welcomed.
