I went with 1.5-1.7g per pound of body weight for about 20 years. I slammed a big Myoplex Deluxe shake as I was walking out the door of the gym (or hobbling on leg/calves day) to get protein and glutamine into the system as quickly as possible. I usually ate 5 meals a day in conjunction with this.
I knew guys that were competing that went to 2g-2.5g per lb but they were also on Winstrol, T400 or other gear and they're regretting that now in their 50's.
