Does these values mean the DPF is blocked ?
![]() Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Exhaust gas backpressure: 36mb Exhaust temp before the catalytic converter: -50.00°C Intake manifold pressure: 1049 mbar DPF pressure: 57 mbar (max 36 was written) Is the DPF clogged? Please note that all values were taken at idle (with a warm engine). *The car has a problem, it does not enter regeneration, 2.0 diesel (driven in mixed conditions). Thank you in advance!" |

Is there a strong exhaust odor? Does the DEF tank have fluid? Can you initiate a DPF regeneration? If the engine is otherwise operating with no untoward behavior can you arrange for a spirited drive to run the DPF at a higher temperature and effect a regeneration the old fashion way? |
