engine overheating

hi i have a 2012 3 series, and since last week the engine is over heating after about 10 mins, the coolant is fine, and not leaking, i have taken it to a garage and they seem to have an idea on what it might be, but not really keen to do it incase its wrong, i live a good 50 miles away from a bigger place with more mechanic options, but obviously i cant drive there, just wondering if anyone had had anything similar and what was likely to be wrong, the passenger side heater will heat up a little eventually but drivers side is barely blowing anything?

thanks
