Dpf light

Hi guys, I’ve had my dpf light come on so ive removed and cleaned along with the egr and the light reset. After about a week it popped back up. I reset the light with the icarsoft tool “replace dpf”. Is there something I’ve missed? Can’t imagine it’s blocked back up that quickly.

Maybe one the pressure sensors that reads the pressure before and after the DPD is faulty. It's often a cause for falst dpf full warnings.

if you never replaced the thermostat and glow plug relay with glow plugs you will never get regeneration cycles
check your engine coolant temp during driving

What fault codes do you have?

With dpf issues, it's rarely actually the dpf that's the problem - it's something upstream either making too much soot for the dpf to handle, or something blocking regens from running (glow plug controller, coolant temperature, etc)

While driving, or when stationary?
