335i stock exhaust, loud pop from exhaust!

E92 335i, Auto Tranny, JB3 1.4, Map6, 93 octane, sea level, 60*F tonite.. I have the Golf tee mod done.

Alright i was doing a WOT pull from a rolling 1st gear, traction all the way off, and right when the tranny went to shift from first to second there was a loud pop from the exhaust and than the car just kept pulling hard. I did lose traction in first gear and the tranny shifted itself into second and i was hopping around fishtailing in second aswell.

It was between shifts the pop sound came from, usually there a raspy sound when shifting hard from 1st to 2nd..

I never heard this before, nor did i hear the pop tonite when i was in the car. My cousins asked me wtf that was but i didnt hear nothing lol.

Car feels normal no problems, no warning lights aswell, sounds normal aswell.

sometimes if you dont let the car warm up all the way, it does that!sometimes i get that pop too

yea seems to be normal. Sounded great. Car temp was about 200*F oil wise. It was a cold night aswell.
