The store I go to in Covina Ca, is at 40-90% off everything. The guy said that all the other stores are closing too.

They are struggling and they are projected to close 700 stores and 4 distribution centers by mid 2025.

All the advance auto parts stores disappeared from Southern California about 20 years ago, then the name slowly started popping back up replacing Carquest, and then Pep Boys (for parts) when Pep Boys shifted to tires and service. It's a shame because they usually carried OEM stuff unlike the other auto parts stores where you're stuck with their house brand. Retail of any kind is rough now, too much competition online.

I’m surprised any auto parts stores exist with rock auto out there. I like advance much better than auto zone, I’ll have to see if my local one has the sale!
