Need recommendations for shop in LI to recharge AC

Looking for a recommendation for a shop in LI/queens to recharge my AC on my e90 328i. Do I have to take it to a shop that works on BMWs or can I go to any mechanic?

Thanks in advance.

I had a phenomenal experience with BPSingh auto repair in Richmond Hill.

They charged me a very good price I think like $150-$180? at that time. Mavis and other no no places were charging at least $225.
Along with changing my Schrader valves that I brought to them. They did the job perfectly.

I had just changed the condenser myself realizing the system was empty. Asked them to put in proper PAG oil as well. A/c blows as cold as it can for 2 years and going. Our cars don’t really blow ice cold but that’s besides the point.

Since new, my 2008 E90 AC doesn’t really blow out ice cold. The car was delivered in March 2008. Took it to the dealership summer 2008 to check the AC. Was told that the AC was functioning the way it’s supposed to. Took it to my BMW independent shop to have it checked. They said the same thing.

Through my 17 years of ownership, I had the AC serviced several times, and it still doesn’t feel cold enough. My Honda Accord AC gets cold within minutes of turning it on. In fact, too cold.
