Winter Tires are mandatory in Germany.... If you have an accident (no matter how perfect the conditions your fault or not)... and you don't have you car outfitted for the winter season you get a big fine.

Thanks for the question... I'm sure that would seem stupid if you have never lived in Europe.

He said he'd buy it however his old lady put the kibosh on that pretty quickly. Oh well I guess I'll just have to keep it.

Sorry Admins, i had to reopen this thread after almost 17 years.

Just got this car on an auction here in CA, the pictures from the first post doesn't even show anymore, but it is always cool to find some history about the cars we have.

Sorry to say, the car is in very bad shape now, CARFAX shows some accidents. But I'm bringing it back to live.

Just finished CIC retrofit with Rear view camera, all OEM from an E84, unfortunatelly the Saddle Brown front seats and arm rest are in very bad shape, most likely the interior will be swapped with an E92 M3 complete set, or Front seats from a F32 M4.

But now it is in good hands back again, it deserves to have a good ending for it's life.
