xDelete Reviews, anyone?
I'm trying to find a little bit more about xDelete. What's your opinion?

As an on and off switch, xDelete wasn't any useful to me but this new patch allowing custom torque split really was a game-changer.
0% (xDrive off) was fun but I don't like spinning rear wheels so I don't miss it. 100%(stock) is good for traction but makes the steering feel unpleasant (compared to 0~50%). Felt way too heavy and dull. I found 50~70% to have a good balance between handling and traction. It's been over 3 months since I settled at 60% and my car's been handling so much better than before. Square tire setup helped a bunch as well. Now I can't imagine my car without xDelete.

xDelete is super fun, AWD for winter, RWD for summer, I constantly switch between the two depentant on what kind of driving I want to do. Def worth the money if you can spare it. I have MHD XHP and xDelete and it has transformed the car into a completely different animal. 335 n54 xdrive auto

I love it, it is worth it for steering feel alone. I am running mine at 35% right now steering feel is very good. I have used the sport setting and it was quite good it tends to really let you spin the rear tires which is fun but also get a decent launch (compared to off/rwd mode). I have played with the snow setting which made my run flats grip when doing a boosted launch. I ran it in off most of this summer because of tire size (new wheels came with 255/275 40 18) but I could run the used tires which was nice. All in all lots of adjustability equals a good amount of flexibility to suit what you want out of the car.

It is worth it.
The steering feels better it full RWD. Saw a 3mpg increase. Also the acceleration from a stand still is way better. This may just be me, but before it felt like the car couldn’t make up its mind on how much power to send to the front wheels while taking off so acceleration was always wired! |

Just to add a little bit, I did scan my E91 post xdelete to see what if any dtcs it popped up. There were some stored faults that weren't there before, but didn't return after clearing them

My car had front end damage when I bought it, e91. cracked oil pan, broken control arms and the front subframe. Found a good 2wd donor at a local u pull and swapped oil pans front subframe, bought new control arms and also got 335 front spindles and brakes. I have 4x4 and abs lights on. Car is at the body shop getting the front end painted since al also changed the hood and from bumper to LCI. I will update with the codes once I get it back and see if I decide to pull the plug on Xdelete and see what it does.
