I'd like a little help diagnosing my 2a87 code issue on my 08 335xi that has about 120k miles. So far I've replaced my vanos solenoids, vanos filters, cam ledges with teflon rectangrings, and cam sensors, in that order. All that and I still haven't been able to shake my frequent 2a87 code issue, so I'm a bit at a loss as to what to look at next. The issue has always been isolated to the exhaust vanos. I should also mention my oil filter cap is intact. I am running Castrol 5W-40.

I have attached a log capturing the moment where the 2a87 code is thrown. Please jump to the end of the log, I don't know how to edit it to remove the 10 minutes prior to the event.

Any help would be appreciated, please let me know if there's more information I need to provide. Thanks in advance.
