How do I find the REG of a car from a VIN number ? VIN to REG

I'm looking at buying a 3 Series from a seller on facebook marketplace, but a few things feel a bit off. The seller joined the website a couple of months ago, appears to be quite old, and has a few other cars listed.

He's asking for a Â£500 deposit because other buyers are interested. The price is very tempting.
He sent me a video of the car that looks legit, but the number plates were removed.

In a few frames I can see vin of the car. Is there any way to look up the registration number from the VIN?

Never put a deposit down on a private sale. I would walk away from that one.
