Hi everyone I have just bought a 2012 BMW 640D Convertible with full history and 98k miles and looking for a list of must check items, also any known problems as not much info with the car I bought it from a fella whose brother in law had passed suddenly and did not know much about it himself, I have flipped through the history and there is no record of the timing chain being done but there are no apparrent noises or rattles from the rear of the engine which is where I am told it lives, I still have my 2008 635D convertible which I have no intention of parting with untill this one has proved itself to be as good, does the 640D have swirl flaps and if so should I remove them before the engine eats them or has that problem been overcome any and all sensible advice much appreciated and gratefully received many thanks Chris
