no one is saying its not possibe a 335 with power like that can def hit 170 and more but he won't know that without a gauge and the fact is the M5 won't hit 170 either unless it's governor has been removed as well so thats what the fuss is about.

Im pretty sure the M5, like my 6 is governed at 205, the guy had some work done, deffinatly had eisenmann race exhaust on it, his car had a really nice power band that was apparent, could easily be chipped

Even if your car had its governer removed, in the iDrive menu, there is a max speed of something like 203 that you can set the cruise control to....I believe this is the "fail safe" limit that BMW put in the M5 / M6.

FWIW, I think your 335i will get walked when the M5 is halfway through 3rd. Just a guess.

The thing that upsets me about this thread, is that this happens I share it, and get shot down with constant no way man, half the people who respond havent seen the other side of 150.

I wasnt thinking, lol let me go BS some story about an M5, I was impressed the other guy was impressed and I'd thought I'd share. Ill get a video of me against an M5 with one of the local guys, maybe me vs my M6. Yall will be impressed, but seriously stop getting defensive and doubting the possibility. My car is signifigantly faster then you think, Ill take pics of the engine when i get it back tomorrow, I got sick durring lunch and hit the gas at a traffic light and hurled all over the fucking drivers side, needless to say its getting cleaned

You'll need the governor removed.

Yeah, ive taken the M6 to 192, according to the HUD. Traffic doesnt allow for speeds much higher at any time of day unfortunatly.

Hey man, I hope you do have a very fast 335i that can beat out an M5...I guess what we should be asking you is how you get 430whp with the mods you listed. Maybe I can do the same before V2 comes out. What is giving you that significant HP boost besides Procede? Tx.

It may automatically come of in M mode or something, my father could have taken it off, deffinatly have hit 192 in it before. M mode does crazy things to those cars.

Intake, full exhaust, Downpipes, Methanol, Intercooler. Probably forgetting something in there, Methanol deffinatly added alot of power same with all the parts we developed. When thoose turbos are almost completely free to move (Intake full exhaust) they change quite a bit, the car hits a constant 15psi and all that messed with boost was the procede. We had to replace the diverter vaulves because they wont hold that high of a boost for long, before we swapped them it would drop down to about 9 psi before 6500. Now it just there from 3k on.

192...........jesus fucking christ, no freaking way you know what the fuck to do with any car at that speed. Thats it, I'm gonna say it and get gunned down by the moderators: How does someone south of age 20 afford a 335i with all of those mods and an M6: answer he doesn't. So when you kill someone I will blame the person who enabled you to drive a car like that.

Ive been racing BMW's for two years . Cars like the M6 handle well at that speed, my M3 actually felt better at that speed. The thing I dont like about the M6 is the suspension was set up for the RFT's so when you let off the gas at that high of a speed the suspension was way too lose, which led for some uneasy feeling and some pretty interesting braking, so the suspension was done on the car and it feels x20 better now. The 335 really needs stiffer shocks in general, at high speeds it still feels solid though.

Your would either need the Turner Motorsport piggyback governer remover, Dinan SW and I believe the AA software removes it too. And then it is believed BMW has a hard governer at 203 mph.

That's pretty f'in cool...tons of hp. I mean, the Procede adds about 40-50, so your other mods are locking in about 90-100 more whp. Looking forward to your vids or whatever you guys post. Good luck with it!

OK, now I am going to call you out..... The M6 doesn't have run flats and the suspension was not tuned to RFTs. On your belief that in "M" mode unlocks the governer, it doesn't. I have run my M6 before and after my Dinan SW upgrade (that removes the limiter). There is nothing special about the M button for top speed.

Stop making stuff up about M6s....you put yourself in a position where your other claims are tainted by obvious inaccuracies.

Not trying to be rude, but maybe you should get your facts straight and/or check with your father about the speed governor. I find it difficult to believe that BMW would have a "secret" speed governor 'release' in P500 ///M mode.

And, if you didn't remove it and if your father didn't remove it, then guess what? It's governed at 155mph.

I believe you hung in there with an E60 M5 for at least until say 100-120mph (maybe up to 140mph), but based on your recent comments, I do not believe you in regards to your claimed HP of ~ 430HP (especially w/o PROcede v2.0) and the speed governor removal thing. I do think ~430BHP (not 430WHP) is absolutely possible with the mods you've listed + PROcede v2.0, running on 93 octane though. I just don't think you're there just yet (with PROcede v1.4x, DPs, exhaust, FMIC, and Methanol).

+1. See, now T-Bone is a guy that knows his M5 & M6 sh!t; I trust the things he says about those cars is fairly accurate. Those guys at M5Board.com typically know their sh!t about their cars.
