Bumping an old thread, curious if anybody has some pointers.
Running 19x10 +25 m359s (ZCP) in the front. They are Avant Garde wheels- not the OEM ones, but this is the exact size of the factory rear. Tire size is 275/30/19. PS4S tire. Car is a factory ZCP car, so it is lower a bit than a regular car, but otherwise the suspension is stock. Getting some rubbing on the back of the front fender liner. Any pointers? |

Can anybody else confirm they are not getting any rub with a 265/30/19 on a 19x10 +25 in the front on a car with ZCP suspension?
That may in fact be a decent fix (going to a 275 to a 265), although not a cheap one since I'd have to buy some more tires. Would love to get some positive feedback before opening up my wallet again. |

One thing that has got me thinking:
Alot of people if not the majority here are running this setup with lowering springs or coilovers. Lowering the car would add some negative camber to the front wouldn't it? Would adding a bit of negative camber either through pulling the alignment pins or lowering the car help with this specific wear pattern? I looked at the car a bit again today- and can repro the rubing while stationary. The outter rear corner of the front tires rubs the rear fender liner when its being pulled into the car for a turn. Roughly about at 60% the distance to lock from center in either direction. Basically a turn radius that you would only use in a parking lot. Curious if an increase in negative camber even slight would increase the clearance in that spot. Having trouble trying to visualize it, but I'm suspecting yes. Thoughts? Would love to see other's info on this. I saw someone online running 275/30 and 295/30 with a 5mm spacer in front and 12 in the rear. Is that something that would actually be a total pain to live with day to day?

I've previously run 265/30/19 on 10" 359s and while they do fit, the aesthetic is off and at least with the pilot cup sport 2s I was running at the time, the short sidewall height effectively nets an exaggerated stretch that exposed the wheel face to additional damage from road debris. In the garage section of my profile there is an image of my mint green E92 with black 359s on the 265/30 cup 2 tires. I've got a new set of 359s (silver) that I'm waiting for 275/30s to mount. |

I’m actually really glad this thread is still alive as it’s been a mine of useful information.
I’ve bought oem rears for the front of my E93 M3 with stock suspension. I was thinking of clicking go on 275 30s all round but am nervous about a) shift towards over steer and b) too thin a wall appearance wise. Only reason for the change is the deeper dish on the front. Realistically it’s aesthetics only, the car is road only and doesn’t get driven hard. I’m currently on 255 35s and 275 35s. I have bought 10mm spacers for the rear. I’ve been looking at this thread to gauge opinion on trying the 255 35s on a 10J rim. Tyres are MP4S. Worst case scenario I try it then do the swap. Can I also check - is the KW sleeve kit the same as the KW HAS kit? This seems to be a main reason for clearance issues at the inside edge. Is the solution therefore a non adjustable spring or a compatible coilover as I want to retain my EDC. |

The PS4S tires have wider shoulders than alot of other tires, which likely contributed to the problem.. Another brand/model of tire in a 275/30/19 may fit without issue. If your goal is PS4S, avoid a 275/30/19 in the front. |

That’s helpful, thanks.
Was your front tyre rubbing the suspension on the inside or the wheel arch liner on the outside? Also do you have stock suspension? |

I just don’t get why some people say 275 30 works all round even with MP4s whereas others report rubbing, regardless of suspension drop/kw has kit, zcp, stock m3….
It gives me no confidence to order anything. |

Totally confused as to why 275 30 MP4s work for some people (even when lowered and on has kits) but not others.
Do you think contisport7s are likely to be a safer choice? They seem to be better reviewed. |

Because most more than likely have a street suspension setup. I have Ohlins with increased spring rates and GC camber plates so allows for more aggressive camber. I also don’t slam my cars either.

I went with continental contisport 7s with 275 30 19s all round.
As a side note, anyone thinking about buying these instead of PS4S, just do it! Cheaper better and significantly lighter! Almost 3lbs in this size. |

Anyone on this thread have a BBK? Like the rest of you, I'm hesitant to get moving with the 10" 359 in the front, though I'll mount MPS4AS (instead of the 4S) and I'm running Eibach springs and Brembos in the front.
