Thanks. I signed up for PM on Aug 31. Has this been run before? I assume it'll be fairly tame since its kind of an open event.

I did their event from Summit Point WV.

3 cars on the track, 2-4 laps autocross in the 240i.

My suggestion is to start at the back of the 3 cars since the first lap will be a slow familiarization session. They make you switch cars after a few laps

I did this last year. Signed up for the 31st, PM session. Good looking out OP.

Last year they had the M2 for autoX in one of the parking lots, and the road course cars were 6 & 7 series. Not the most ideal for track use but was still a great time. This lineup should be more fun.

Yea, it was a great time last year. Hope that they have the M2's available for the autocross again!

The 7 impressed me on the track. I didn't think it would have handled as well as it did! It was also entertaining to have air conditioned and massaging seats while driving on the track!

It was a lot of fun for someone like me who has not done much track or autocross.

It was 240i on the autocross and 340i, 440i and 540i on the track. All were automatic. All but the 540i had performance package. All but the 240i were AWD. We got a ride in a M4 or M6 on the track but did not get to drive it. I thought it was a very well done event by BMW

Shoutout to Day Laborer for the thread!

We all planned to pick the 31st PM session, and the BMW team was extremely accommodating for us as a group.

M240i autoX was fun, more so with the staff egging us on, on top of the group's default trash talking nature. That car is begging for tires, but if you want to get it sideways, it's easy.

I was really impressed with the 340i and 440is loaded with M-Perf goodies on the track. Was nice to have something "nimble" compared to last years 6s and 7s.
