I took the car to a respected local indy shop, where a tech drove it, heard the ping, and said it was normal. Reassured, I thrashed the car in the Blue Ridge Mtns for 2 hours. The pinging disappeared. I have no idea if, or if so why, steady cruising would cause a ping, and hard use would cure it.

Mine came back as well, I've decided that it's normal and just ignore it now

J'ai eu ce bruit sur 3 de mes M3 E9x.

J'ai remarqué que quand j'ai mis quelques gallons de E85 sur le remplissage, le ping s'arrête. J'ajoute que la S65 est très sensible à l'octane de carburant puisque je ne peux en obtenir que 91 ici, en Californie.

Je fais tourner des airs AlpineMSS sur toute ma voiture, je ne me souviens pas du bruit qui était là sur le stock tune.

Did you check the rubber seal again?

I noticed when I put in a couple gallons of E85 on fill up, the pinging stops. I just chalk it up to the S65 being extra sensitive to fuel octane since I can only get 91 here in CA.

I run AlpineMSS tunes on all my car, I don't recall the noise being there on the stock tune.

The noise only appears when on the tune for me as well. If I feel like its going to "lug" the engine, I just drop a gear and that should be fine.

J'ai eu cela aussi avec une marque de 91 octane, mais il disparaît avec deux autres marques qui ont 93 et 94 octane.

EDIT: Plus précisément, je l'ai eu pendant des années et dès que j'ai ajouté du gaz d'octane 93/94, il avait disparu.

Hmmm totalement une coïncidence, mais après mon changement d'huile et le passage à 5W50, le ping a disparu pour l'instant. Peut-être que la station d'essence où je suis allé était correcte 94 Octane.

Un vieux morceau alpin a cinglé comme max sur ma voiture. Le nouveau code semble meilleur.

Est-ce que cela ressemble au cliquetis que vous avez entendu? J'ai eu ce son sur le deuxième air Alpine le plus récent, et il semble moins perceptible avec la dernière mise à jour. Je ne sais pas si la mélodie était liée, car la voiture a été assise pendant un mois et la nouvelle mélodie a été appliquée dès mon retour à la maison. Je dois serrer mes joints de beignets dans l'échappement parce que j'ai une petite fuite d'échappement, je suppose que le son pourrait provenir de là. On aurait dit que ça venait de sous la voiture, pas de l'avant/du moteur.

Ma voiture fait ce bruit, mais très faiblement. L'air de stock semble le faire disparaître pour la plupart, mais pas entièrement. Je suis en train de dire que S65 est S65 pour moi. Je suis sur le dernier Alpine. Mon histoire jusqu'à présent :

* Achetez 6MT M3 en octobre dernier, la voiture est livrée avec une mélodie alpine
* Remarquez le cliquetis lors du triage (hautes vitesses, 75% + gaz bas RPMS comme 2k)
* Remettre l'air du stock, le ping disparaît pour la plupart, mais toujours là dans les mêmes conditions que ci-dessus, juste très faible
* Charger la nouvelle mélodie mise à jour (Stg 2) le mois dernier, un peu plus de ping que stock, mais une amélioration significative par rapport au son qu'il a fait quand j'ai acheté la voiture.

Je fais le plein à BP - 93oct, dans le nord du Jersey.

Beaucoup ont dit que S65 n'aime pas être traîné et qu'il est unique en son genre avec tous les bruits drôles qu'il fait.

* Load up newly updated tune (Stg 2) this past month, slightly more pinging than stock, but a significant improvement over the sound it made when I initially bought the car.

I fill up at BP - 93oct, in North Jersey.

Many have said S65 does not like being lugged and that it's one of a kind with all of the funny noises it makes.

Haven't flashed back yet. Got an e30 project car in the way 😹. Will post back when I do it

J'avais pas mal de cliquetis ces derniers temps, plus que prévu, et ça semble avoir disparu après avoir changé le filtre à air. Je sais, ça paraît complètement absurde et impossible, mais j'ai fait pas mal de trajets depuis et le cliquetis a nettement diminué. Aujourd'hui, j'avais 3 passagers, il faisait chaud et humide, la clim tournait à plein régime dans des bouchons, avec une température d'huile juste au-dessus des 210, et le moteur ne galérait pas comme avant.

Le filtre que j'ai retiré était d'origine avec seulement environ 16 000 km au compteur, et il était absolument dégueulasse. Complètement encrassé par une couche de noir profond sur toutes les faces. Honnêtement, c'est le filtre dans le pire état que j'aie jamais vu de ma vie. Je ne me rappelle même pas être passé dans quoi pour que ça en arrive là.

Est-ce que ça pourrait venir de l'essence ? Peut-être, mais c'est la même station que d'habitude et après autant de pleins, je ne vois pas comment ça aurait pu se régler comme par magie juste avec ce réservoir.

Bref, voilà un petit retour d'expérience à partager.
