Looking for previous owner!

J'ai récemment acheté une E92 M3 chez un revendeur local. On m'a dit, "un gentleman plus âgé possédait ceci comme sa deuxième voiture", et je me suis dit que j'aurais peu d'espoir quant à la découverte dudit propriétaire précédent. J'étais sceptique.

En amenant la voiture sur un ascenseur la semaine dernière, j'ai remarqué une pipe Fabspeed X et des ressorts Dinan. J'ai lutté avec l'idée que c'était peut-être l'un des vieux gentleman les plus cool du centre de la Floride, mais plus probablement le propriétaire précédent était un passionné de toutes sortes compte tenu de la qualité des mods.

Donc, si quelqu'un sur ce forum à un moment donné possédait une E92 M3 initialement achetée chez Audi à West Palm Beach, et enregistrée à Lake Worth en Floride, (via carfax) Jerez à Bamboo, DCT, et vendue près de 52k miles, alors j'ai maintenant votre voiture, et je voudrais vous poser quelques questions.

Je suis tombé sur le monsieur qui a acheté mon ancienne 550 et a été en mesure de lui fournir des informations que le concessionnaire ne pouvait pas / ne voulait pas fournir. Il est bon de connaître l'histoire d'une voiture d'occasion que vous avez achetée! Bonne chance !

I did stumble across the gentleman who bought my old 550 and was able to provide him with information the dealer couldn't/wouldn't provide. It is great to know the history of a used car you've purchased! Good luck!

I've always been intrigued by a cars history. I used to buy/sell vintage exotics. I would take barn finds and clean them up. Within these cars were usually lost papers, trinkets etc and always told a story.

I got so damn lucky. Not only do I know the previous owner but he works at the dealership that I got the from.

I usually find something in the owners manual that has something that might shed some light.

I can do a vin lookup for you as my son works with BMW. At least I can get the maintenance records.

wow almost 73k new! Certainly a well optioned car.

In regards to my vehicles service history, any idea why the last two years weren't on that document? Perhaps the vehicle was not serviced at BMW during the last two years?

It's because the customer stopped going to the dealer for service

Bruh lets knock out those bearings and you won't have to worry about the history anymore! Also the car is in good hands now!

Est-ce que ce propriétaire était un passionné ? En considérant les mods et l'état, il a été bien entretenu. Je suis le 6ème propriétaire 4ème propriétaire vendu voiture à carmax en août 2025 je suis le 6ème propriétaire et le 5ème oner n'avait que 6 mois toute information aidera!

Quelqu'un sait déjà à qui appartenait cette caisse ? Il y a eu 6 propriétaires, moi compris. Parmi les 5 autres, il doit bien y avoir quelqu'un qui sait si les Rb ont été faits ou pas.
