I recently picked up an E92 M3 from a local dealer. I was told, "an older gentleman owned this as his second car", and figured I'd have little hope as to finding said previous owner. I was skeptical.

Upon bringing the car on a lift last week, i noticed a Fabspeed X pipe and Dinan springs. I wrestled with the idea that perhaps this was one of the coolest old gentleman's in Central Florida, but more then likely the previous owner was an enthusiast of sorts considering the quality of mods.

SO, if anyone on this forum at one point owned an E92 M3 initially purchased at Audi in West Palm beach, and registered in Lake worth Florida, (via carfax) Jerez on Bamboo, DCT, and sold it close to 52k miles, then I now have your car, and would like to ask you a few questions.

Thanks!

I did stumble across the gentleman who bought my old 550 and was able to provide him with information the dealer couldn't/wouldn't provide. It is great to know the history of a used car you've purchased! Good luck!
Without photos it will be impossible to figure this out :drink: Let er rip with a couple of photos.

I've always been intrigued by a cars history. I used to buy/sell vintage exotics. I would take barn finds and clean them up. Within these cars were usually lost papers, trinkets etc and always told a story.
I got so damn lucky. Not only do I know the previous owner but he works at the dealership that I got the from.

I usually find something in the owners manual that has something that might shed some light.

I can do a vin lookup for you as my son works with BMW. At least I can get the maintenance records.

Great price!

In regards to my vehicles service history, any idea why the last two years weren't on that document? Perhaps the vehicle was not serviced at BMW during the last two years?

It's because the customer stopped going to the dealer for service

That was very nice of you. I tried to reach out to BMW to get the service history records for mine and they never got back to me.

You think you can assist me with that? It would be greatly appreciated. :) VIN = WBSDX9C55BE584788
