Hey everyone,

I am looking into a few E92 options and saw one local to me that caught my eye.

2009 MY (LCI Tails fitted)
Alpine White
Black Interior
6 Speed
50k miles
Clean Title & 0 Accidents
RB / TA Original Unchanged

Owner Lists Packages as following: Convenience Package, Heated Seats, Extended Leather, Parking Sensors, Premium Audio

Asking around 40k
Toit CF ou toit ouvrant ? 40k $ sonne un peu plus haut pour 1. Le kilométrage et 2. RB/TA sont tous les deux OG.

CF roof or sunroof? $40k sounds a touch higher for 1. the mileage and 2. RB/TA are both OG.
CF Roof. Mileage doesnt seem bad being under 50k tbh. Would you say 35k is fair?

Absolutely, considering it has premium audio and extended leather. good luck!

Awesome! What would be the highest you think should be paid if not 35k?
maybe a couple grand depending on maintenance history documentation, no. of owners, etc.
I'd say $40k is w/in 7-10% of what you will have to pay.

I looked for months for any 6MT E92 or E90 nationwide and there just weren't a lot of cars in color combos I would accept (& <75k miles).

Finally found a very clean 2011 E90 6MT w/ 70k miles for $38k. No accidents, no mods, runs well.

"Affordable" and clean E92s/E90s w/ 6MT are rare indeed.
So what happened?

That’s about a perfect spec for what I was looking for. But really wasn’t willing to pay 35-40k.

Early February, I bought a 2008, 84k miles, one owner, all services with records, ppf from new, equipped similarly, for 27.5. Getting the rod bearings and TAs done now.

That sounds like a great deal, was yours a 6 speed as well? I have not pulled the trigger yet and am sleeping a few days on it as my heart isnt set on alpine white really. The cars as clean as they come but ive been set on interlagos blue mainly for so long im not sure if I should go this route.

Yes. I haven’t had anything other than a manual in over 15 yrs…

I’m not really a fan of the blue, but color is very personal.

I was looking for a nice driver. Figured I would do RB and TA’s on anything I bought (unless there were records of them being completed). The car the work is getting done at a shop in Portland. The car is at my Dad’s house - I’ve owned it for three months and only my Dad has driven it…. My son is returning from college in a bit and we are going to pick up the car at the end of the month and road trip back to Colorado.

Thats awesome! Your gonna have some fun when you get it back haha. Finding a deal like yours nowadays is tough for sure.

Ya, seems like a really nice car that was bought new and spent its entire life in Bend OR.

Not sure what I’m going to do with it as I’ll be getting a G80 in September…. But I’ve had an e30, e46 and f80 and always wanted and e92…

Ill gladly take it off your hands ;) Im coming into the e92 from a f80. I drove the g80 as well and it was my first option instead of the e92 but i decided i wanted to experience the e9x gen first and then move to the g80 later if I still had the itch

Haha. Similar journey. Once I finalize my G80 order, I’ll post a thread with the different M3s…

I had a F80 but didn’t ‘bond’ with it. Kept shopping for an M2C but didn't want to pay close to MSRP. Been waiting 16 months for a Golf R and mine is finally due in June but it’s DSG so I’m going to pass. My dealer has gotten a total of three R’s in the last 16 months and while they can request a spec, they get what VW sends them…. Which is why I looked for and found the G80 allocation - manual…

Back in the day I waited for what felt like eons for a Interlagos Blue Z4M and then got myself a white one because the deal was too good to wait for IB. However, IMO E92 M3 looks best in White + CF roof. But it is also the most common color so there is that!
