I got the car back

They said that they can't figure out what to do...and there's no service bulletin or anything with BMW and they've never seen my problem...

so they said if it comes back to come back in immediately...

and they just put lubricant in my top to make it smooth again

If I can get my rims on before Sunday and nothing comes up I should be able to come

I'm trying to get more people to come....

I just ordered my rims for daily and track use but does anyone have tire hookups? I need to get 225/35/19 and 265/30/19 Hankook V12's. Tirerack has em for about 700$.

I've had decent success with Platte Forme a.g., but I think James or Sean have a better hookup for tires.

You could also try PMing Roy@AcutePerformance/M3Heaven, I don't know if Roy does tires though.

I would also have no problem driving a bit if it would save me some $, I just also have to have the TPMS taken off my stockers and put on these when they mount the tires to the new rims. Just txted Sean to see what he says.

Hit up Donald, Allen, or David at Tire Central in San Gabriel. I've been going to them for the past 4 years and they always give really good deals which include mounting/balancing as well. Pay in cash and they don't charge tax.

How much'yall reckon I could sell my ZCP wheels with tires for? They've got them OEM Pirellis, wheels and tires only have like 700-800 miles on them, including the one track day out at Buttonwillow.

I the ZCP's, but I'm getting no real use out of them to be honest, as I already have Volk G2's to daily on, and Forgeline EV3R's to track on.... I figure I'd drop a set of rollers and free up garage space.

Soooo for alignment...

I'm thinking of either taking the car to West End Alignment ($120 I think?)

Or having my family friend do it ($60, he's been doing alignment for as long as I'm alive pretty much, but street cars, not track spec cars But if I give him the correct printout, I don't see why he can't mimic it)

Or going to BMW (their retail is $330, but I can get it for $150 as a special cause I just referred a bunch of people there). The tech said their alignment includes: "weighting the car to the proper ride height for exact angles while vehicle is in motion."

I would like to go to my family friend because:
A) He's 1 minute from my office (west end is a good 45 minutes)
B) cheaper
C) if it's wrong, I can go back for adjustment next day or something for free.

I'd like to go with West End because:
A) Great forum rep
B) lots of reviews

I'd like to go with BMW because:
A) well it's BMW so I'm assuming they'll warranty it if the alignment is off...
B) I can get it done at the same time I'm getting other stuff done, so it's the most convenient option
C) the whole "exact angles while in motion" is the first I've heard and it seems pretty..legit..?

Go to your friend. He's cheaper, and he's closer, which amounts to being cheaper again.

This is when I had my OEM 18s on

-1 camber isn't being recommended. That's just the max you can go with the pins in. Take out the pins, and get -1.6, now that's recommended, especially since you track. You're probably going to wear the center and outside of the tire and kill tires prematurely given your tire usage.

I was looking at around 2.5k, which includes tires....since I saw that sets are going for like 2k for wheels only. :\
