badazzm wroteTheres a place up in Walnut Creek, i believe its called Rite-Way Wire & Wheel Specialists. They got good reviews and are legit. I haven't personally used them, but hear they are honest and legit.Guys. Anyone know of a good shop in San Jose to get bent rims fixed except wheel techniques? Horrible reviews on yelp for them. I got two rims that are bent from inside and making the steering wheel shake. Help would be appreciated!
asifali14 wroteI've gone there for a quote for some minor curb rash, they seemed very nice and legit. I didn't get the rash repaired so i can't say anything about the quality of the work.Theres a place up in Walnut Creek, i believe its called Rite-Way Wire & Wheel Specialists. Jive wrote$200/wheel is what I've been quoted for powdercoating from them. I opted to keep my stock. I know at least 3 guys who went with them and love their wheels now. Much better than wheel technique in San Jose. To fix curb rash, it's typically about $80-$120, depending on size of rash.I've gone there for a quote for some minor curb rash, they seemed very nice and legit. They quoted me $200 to repair a 2-3 inch curb rash on just the lip of a single ZCP wheel (nothing on the spoke), and according to some people on this forum that is a bit high. However they weren't sure about the exact color of the ZCP wheels to color match the repair, they thought it was "Hyper-Silver".
s4play wroteI would be interested in meeting up to hear it as well - im in the similar situation, got the slip on.^I'll be down to meet up as well just to hear the full Akra!
I have the Akra slip-on and looking for more sound but want to hear it in person to make sure it's not too loud for my backseat toddlers.
I'm in East Bay Fremont area most of the time.
EliteM3 wroteI can do it. When are you free?Anyone with the full Akra Evo system in the bay area who would be willing to meet up and take me for a ride?
I have the OEM exhaust mod, and am contemplating the switch. I would love to hear it if you are available.
PM me if you are willing.
Thanks!

badazzm wroteNo problem - how much did they charge you? Did they do a good job? Thanks bro! Ended up taking it to the dealer since I am too lazy to drive that far.
asifali14 wroteI dropped it off this morning and it's still there. It's actually a third part company that works with BMW and bunch of other luxury dealerships. It was $225. Rite way was $175 but like I said, it's too far to drive in traffic and their days are very limited. Stevens creek BMW is 1.5 miles away from where I live so its works perfect. Let's see how they did when I pick it up in couple of hours. No problem - how much did they charge you? Did they do a good job?
