I am about to install the brembo 380 x 34 6 pot front and 380 x 28 4 pot rear brakes on my 2011 e92 m3. I have seen people talk about tying back the brake sensors and trimming or removing the dust shields.
Does anyone know if the stock M3 GTS has dust shields and brake sensors? If so, I wonder which pads the GTS uses. The GTS basically uses the same brake set up I am installing. I wonder if I could get the dust shields from the GTS to install on my car if it has them.
Also can someone clarify if there are pads for the brembo's that use the oem brake sensor for street use? I have read that the Feroda FS2500s allow it but I have read conflicting info.
Finally, I have read most people trim their dust shields but I can not find specifics on where and how they exactly trimmed the shields for the 380 kit.
Thanks for your help. I have used the search function but can't seem to find a definitive answer on these questions.
