Replaced my worn sport cup 2 with pilot4s. Much cushier since they are new and man the car takes off again off the line. Love it.
Had a lot of 4's on the cluster today.
Completely stripped, Iron-X'ed, sealed, waxed and covered. Wheels cleaned, clayed and waxed. Tires at 45psi and on floor pads. Baking soda and dryer sheets inside. Full tank of gas mixed with Sta-Bil. Aluminum foil in the tail pipes. Battery tender connected. Goodnight sweet prince.
Put her winter shoes on.

BMWNTHZST wroteNice. I gotta do this retrofit also. Maybe in the spring...I installed the Bimmer Retrofit rear-camera with dynamic lines. It was a simple plug and play install with self-coding. Total install time was 1.15. most of this time was spent running the main wire to the trunk and keeping it all hidden.

Just got my DCT tune and coding from Alex at Alpine. Thanks everyone for the recommendation. Can’t believe how much better the car feels. Now I need to get the engine tune.

Put a baby seat in the car for the first time. Guess it was about time, after all it was the excuse I used to justify buying the E90 and selling my 330Ci.
So, T-15 days till my car gets a new "audio system" of sorts...

So anyone flushing fluid, bbk install, braided line installs, always leave fluid alittle below full and place rag around the res before pouring.
Ok I'm done with my rant lol:)

BOOF-M3 wroteIt’s so hard to explain everything but all I can say is the feeling of the car is just how it should be. The shifts are so fast and crisp. You thought they were smooth now just wait til you feel it after the tune. My favorite thing is eliminate the boggy feeling when your slowing down at lights. This is the GTS DCT tune thread. That’s virtually gone it smooth with no jerky feeling. Downshifting rev matches instantly vs the slight pause. I can’t find any other words to put it. But regardless of any mods I do, coding and tune from Alex is a must. So glad I listened to all the other forum members that pointed me in his direction.
