I took mine out for a cruise this weekend. I'm enjoying the last of the humane weather before it turns into humid hell so I'm driving with the windows down. I was afraid that it would affect the leather scent in my car which somehow still smells new 9 years and 22,500 miles later, but it hasn't. All of my previous M3s lost their new car smell pretty quickly.

Thats the good part. The bad(ish) part is that I noticed a faint whine. It sounds like a very quiet Kenne Bell supercharger. (I made sure no Mustangs were following me). At first I thought maybe it was the diff whine some folks complain about. I noticed that it still followed rpm when I was sitting still, so its more likely a vacuum leak. The car isn't running badly.

So, vacuum leak? Some other kind of air leak? Possible... wallet leak?

Over the last month of "stay at home" i decided to get some work done on my track toy. Figured since I couldn't hit the track I might as well modify the car some while its stuck in the garage. Finished up the work this week and took it out for some photos.

Added the following:

Updated nav maps to 2020 version for a 20 hp increase then installed the Alex@Alpine stage 1 - 91 octane tune. I don't think the 91 octane ethanol free fuel I usually use played well well the tune but 93 octane Shell fuel seems to be doing better.

Waiting to get an answer back for scheduling coding.
