64000 😔 only had the car for a year. Put 4K mi on it and this happens. Very bad luck.

My last car was an N55 that also had rod bearings go.

Both cars babied, but bought used. Guess I find the worst ones 😬
Feel bad for you.

But, hey, it's not your fault, if you didn't know about it. Now you know that you need more clearance on the RBs. Have it when you get your new engine.

It could be, but they seem very rare so far, if you look on the sorted list I posted the RB registry thread you'll see that only a few suffered from stuck injectors.
