Howdy all,
So in my never-ending chase for induction bliss, I wanted to ask what bad things could happen if I removed the cowl gasket identified in the pic below?

Now before you say its a dumb idea, hear me out.

- I have BMS filters on the car to replace the cabin filters
- I have stress tested to see if water can get in by opening up a garden hose right on my windowshield but everything was dry. the water just routed through normal channels as usual.
-i expect the bms filters will get dirtier faster but they are dry filters and I have no problem cleaning them out regularly.

So is there any other risks I have not thought of? Thanks

Nothing significant will happen.
No picture mate, curious!
I assume these are BMS cowl filters. If so, no real downside. I've used them in the past.
Fixed the pic. Its the cowl trim im talking about. Any bad things happen if removed?
Nope. It's fine remove away.
Lovely plenum you have there OP. What brand and price is that if you don't mind?

Thanks! It's a carboproject plenum. The louder export version with matte finish. It was a group buy but just missed it. Normal.price was 1250 shipped plus duties from Germany.

Cost savings come from the fact its a carbon top mated to an OEM bottom.
Show us pictures when you remove it!
Any additional fumes coming in the cabin?
Pictures when taken out!
