COMPLETE jerk off M3 driver - San Diego

Perhaps I should have posted this in the regional (So Cal) thread here, or even here. I guess I felt insulted enough to share this with everyone. While cruising through Mission Valley today in San Diego I spotted a black E92 M3 with 18s (not sure if it was Jerez or Jet). We were both stopped and despite having a gander at his car I definitely did not stare. This was actually the first M3 I've seen on the road. When my light went green I turned and got closer to him as he was on a perpedicular street (of course I don't mean I got close, too close or anything out of the ordinary, the normal path around this turn simply got me closer to him). Low and behold he yells (both our windows were down), "F&^% YOU".

I was simply shocked and floored. What a complete jerk off. Just minutes earlier I got a subtle but cool and appreciated thumbs up from a fellow in a nice looking black Audi S4.

I know there are lots of respectable M3 drivers out there and many right here on this forum. Sure it is not that surprising that some will be complete jerks. I guess I was partly so surprised as this was the first "fellow" E92 M3 I've seen on the road.

He drives an M3 so this cannot be the reason.

Wow...... I actually saw a Jerez on 18's the other day near PB... He had a Fox interior... at first I thought it might have been Kurtt until I saw the interior was not black. Maybe this is the same guy.... what a douche...

Wow, that's nasty. I've had nothing but cool exchanges with E92, E46 and E36 M3 drivers.

The week I got my car, early April, I was cruising down a 3-lane street, and I noticed some sort of fuss on my rear view mirror. There was a lot of traffic, but I could see someone was doing something unusual behind the cars that were behind me. I drove steady for about 30 seconds, and to my bewilderment, this Jerez Black E92 with Fox Red interior--exactly my color combo--emerged out of the traffic behind me desperately trying to drive up. He must have spotted me from a side street or something. We lined up side by side and rolled down our windows. My first words were, "Very cool car!" We gave each other thumbs up and went our separate ways...

I guess he must have felt threatened, I woulda punched in him in face if I was close enough.

What a tool! You'd think there would be some comraderie amongst fellow M3 drivers. I'm in the area all the time but I've only seen one M3 (IB Close to Bally's in Mission Valley) to date.

I'm thinking he forgot to take his meds today

I'm working up my "M3 driver" profile...

I smile at all M3 drivers... new, old... I figure the driver is an enthusiast, and we have something in common.

Maybe his dealer told him he had the only M3 in the US, and when he saw you he realized that paying 120K for it was a really STUPID thing to do...

I am at a loss for words lol. Why would a person driving a very nice vehicle say the f-bomb to another driver.

I usually get the usual Thumbs-up from other BMW, Audi, etc drivers.

He musta been smoking the good stuff.
