Just test drove my first E9x M3. Coming from an 80k mile E46 M3 6MT which was fantastic in every single way of course, but have the itch for the S65 sound. This car has a new clutch and is in excellent mechanical shape so I would be surprised if something was actually wrong with it. It’s just a lot lighter than I’m used to and kind of hard to get a feel for compared to my E46 M3 or my 94 Supra, even my buddy’s Camaro SS 1LE.

LCI models have updated clucth pedal spring with extra "helper" spring. Some people don't like the LCI variant so they remove the helper spirng and thus get the preLCI version.
