Woodford Reserve tonight. That Remy post up above reminds me of our recent trip. We got into our stateroom on the ship and there was a bottle in our room. We toasted ourselves and enjoyed some with another couple. The butler came in and said that the bottle was meant for the room above us. Those people came down rather cooly, but by the end of the night we were all fast friends.

Been much too busy at work to sip lately, but I did pour a nice dram of the 10yo Pappy's for the wearing o' the green. Slainte'

Just returned from our annual visit to Russian River Brewing (Windsor) to taste the latest limited release of PLINY THE YOUNGER. It's a great tasting triple IPA and only available at the brewery (2 locations) for a 2 week period. Upon entering you can order up to three 10 oz pours due to 10.25% alcohol content. Each customer can purchase up to 3 bottles for take out and entry lines can be very long especially on weekends.

NE IPA

I'm not much of a Bourbon guy as I much prefer Aged sipping Rum, Cognac and extra Añejo Tequila. But I do occasionally enjoy an Old Fashioned. Oberon heard much praise over Penelope and their exceptional offerings. I was able to obtain one of their rarest and most sought after, RIO.

Old Fashioned about twice a month. Made with Makers Mark.
I usually enjoy it while sitting in my hot tub. 😀
