Here are my observations in comparing the 2011 M3 ordering guide to the 2010 M3 ordering guide. It is possible the guides contain errors (other than the ones I suspect and point out), so I won't say these are "official", but they are accurate according to the most current information as far as I know.
  • ZCP has been added (obviously, as discussed extensively here). In addition to 359M wheels (GTS wheels, but silver instead of black), it includes a lower suspension and the somewhat curious "sport mapping for EDC/DSC". It also does include EDC, so presumably the ZTP package will cost less if you also order ZCP. Not available on the E93.
  • 441 Smoker's Package is standard equipment again (not sure, but I think this was originally standard in 2008 and 2009 but deleted for MY2010).
  • 609 Navigation is no longer available. So you can only get navigation if you order ZTP (this could be an error, I give a 50/50 shot).
  • 223 Electronic Damping Control, 326 Rear spoiler deletion, 415 Power rear sunshade are now priority 1 options. This means you won't find cars sitting on dealer lots with these options, unless they are canceled custom orders.
  • New tail light design for E92 and E93, as found on 2011 E92 and E93 3 series.

Some other notes:
- MSRP is identical to 2010 (not found in the guide, but stated in master 2011 BP thread).
- LCI 3 series coupe gets Front and Rear PDC (508) but M3 retains the Rear PDC only option (507).
- No new colors, even for ZCP.

There will likely be other minute visual changes to the car as well, but we won't know until pictures are released. I'll update this thread once they are. Please let me know if I have missed anything or if anything I have listed is wrong.

That is a very nice summary of the new 2011 M3 equipment packages and stand alone options. :)

I do see one obvious thing that needs to be corrected though...

The 507 option on the M3 is for the rear only park distance control (PDC), not front only park distance control. ;)
What does priority 1 mean? does that mean you can only get it in a package or not at all?

Oops. Fixed. :)

It just means that those options can only be specc'd on a customer order. Priority 1 is the priority assigned to customer orders. They take precedence over dealer-stock orders.
Im surprised still no front PDC

Really? I thought there was going to be some exclusive colours only available to ZCP, like Frozen Grey. nuts...
Here's the BMW Group Press release. Someone posted a link in a sticky, but here's PDF if anyone interested. First paragraph talks about MSRP:

"For existing models, what will not change for the start of the MY2011 are base Manufacturer Suggested Retail Prices."

Or a factory installed rear view camera. :(

I mean come on...nearly every 35k+ vehicle has had these for years now.

While we're waiting for real pictures, I posted some pictures from the "Build your own car" feature on BMW UK's page here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=346270

dang i wanted front pdc too! oh wells
I for one, being the owner of an 08 e92m3, am relieved that there are no major LCI changes planned. Hopefully, the LED tails will be an easy plug-in option.

Unfortunately, it will not be a simple plug-n-play upgrade. :thumbdown

In order for any 2008-2010 Coupe or Convertible (with a build date prior to March 2010) to upgrade to the new L.E.D. tail lights...

You will need to buy (and install) a new light control module (LCM), and have the dealership flash your car with the latest ISTA/P software programming update to activate them.

Speaking of it, do you (or anybody else) already happen to know if there'll be a BMW retrofit kit like it's available for the E90?

Did anyone comment on the "Extended Novillo Leather must be ordered with 609 or ZTP"? Is this new?

Also, I find it strange that there is no mention of "new LED tail-light for the 2010 E92/E93" in the official press release.

Not new.

441 was standard for MY2010, my car was built with it and it wasn't a "selectable" option in the ordering system. For some reason it was dropped from the Ordering Guide but showed up on the car anyway.

Exactly what is included in the smokers package. Not that I smoke or would let anyone in my car that tries to but if it includes the front center console ashtray and lighter, than it is standard on the 2010's. My car has it and I certainly didn't request it.
I think it's simply a lighter in the front ashtray. My 2010 has it. I rpobably would have gotten it anyway even though I don't smoke just to have the power port.
I Still don't know why BMW does not make front PDC for the M3... I mean the 2011 3 series gets it but why not the M3??? Does anyone know the real reason why BMW Does NOT make front PDC For the M3??? I'm just very curious to why they don't....

They do in some markets like Australia (and others) - is it something to do with US crash testing laws or some similar nonsense ? :confused2

Can't justify that if the 3-series has it. I'm betting it's the corner reflector positioning.

Except the bumpers are different between the 3 series and the M3 - on this basis is there a chance that US crash test requirements meant BMWNA didn't do crash tests ? Re those very attractive corner reflectors, they are more to the outside of where the PDC sensors are - essentially the sensors are below the middle of the headlight (or below the headlight squirter) and below the outside edge of each kidney grill.

Anyway it was just a thought. :)
