Halifax Meet Point Pleasant Park Aug 21st at 2:00PM

EDIT #2: If it rains on Saturday the 21st then the meet will go ahead on Sunday the 22nd at 2 PM. I will post on Saturday morning before the meet if it is going ahead on Saturday or Sunday

EDIT: I realize this meet was too short notice for many people to attend so I am going to try and organize it next weekend on the 21st at 2PM instead of my original plan of August 14th (tomorrow). I have contacted the Forum administrator to try and get the thread title changed to read the new date. I apologize for the short notice and hope to see you guys next weekend!

Hey Guys I am in town from Alberta and would like to have the local BMW Owners meet at Point Pleasant Park at around 2PM on Saturday the 14th of August.

I realize this is short notice but if you are interested then please come down. Invite any friends that are BMW Owners (all BMW's and not only M3's) the more the merrier!!!

Good to see you made it into town. I'm around but at the track on Saturday instructing at a SoloSprint School and I don't know exactly what time I'll be done. Let me know what you arrange with the other guys and I'll see if I can make it too. I have PM'ed you my cell number as I've only been on the forum sporadically lately.

I can't wait to see your car in person!

It was great to finally meet you in person and to see your beautiful car. Thank you so much for taking time out of your vacation schedule to get together with gthal and I @ Halifax Autosport on Saturday. It was truly a pleasure to meet someone with so much enthusiuasm for the BMW brand, the M3 model, and all of the performance and cosmetic options available for our cars.

I really enjoyed getting a ride in and driving your Moonstone beauty. That exhaust note is forever etched in my memory (now where can I find the funds to buy an Akrapovich). I will get the pictures I snapped on Saturday uploaded from the camera and post them on this thread as quickly as I can.

I would really like to get together at least once more while you're still in town and go for a nice spirited drive (maybe out to Peggy's Cove) while we are still basking in this great weather.

I then spent some time talking with Jamie before taking these (that's Jamie in the background of the first shot):









We then went for a bit of lunch and a short drive around town so I could hear the exhaust some more. After that, we cam back to our meeting spot where my car was parked and I took a few following interior and group shots. Look at that gorgeous Amarone interior

I can't figure out why some of the photos I'm linking to have taken the license plate blur effect while others have not.

Jamie, if you want, I can remove the pictures with your license clearly showing until I figure this out. Just PM me to let me know.

Go ahead and post my plate...... It is part of the mods in my opinion. My plate is all over the Internet. I told IND not to hide my plate in their pictures.

Car Theft is not a big problem where I live anyway. Thanks for taking the photos!
