Have you driven one yet? I had a new X5 loaner last week. I wanted to stab myself. I couldn't wait to give it back. I want buttons, damn it.
yes and I couldn't get pass the ongoing big screen jammed on top of the dashboard.
its distraction to look at the screen and make sure you are pressing right area vs having a physical button.

At 57, I have just about given up the idea of continuing to be somewhat physically fit, and just gonna enjoy the last couple years as a fat, drunk, bald gourmand. I can always take a larger insulin shot.
I confess, I fell back on the wagon after 14 days

I went to the speakeasy with BIL, drank sparkling water while looking at my glass of Jack, grubbed chatruterie and calamari

I got back home and just felt disgusting, so I ran 4 kn. Still fat/slow but better than before the run

She's already spoken for... :D
Back in January I said I wasn't going to drink anymore… for my health, and because I’m getting old.

Well, tonight I decided to start enjoying alcohol again, and I'm glad I did. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m too young and healthy to stop having a little adult beverage fun. Maybe I’ll quit when I’m 80.

Cheers to all! :drink:

I think she makes solid music, but boy do I despise her politics.

I understand. When she chose to share her political leanings, I'm pretty certain she knew that some people would be put off by it. I can't understand why entertainers would want to divide their audience or think that anyone cares what they think just because they are an entertainer.

Personally, I have to confess (sticking with the topic of the tread) that I try very hard not to judge too harshly those who don't agree with my beliefs, whether it's politics, religion, how to raise children, how much to tip, or whether it's okay to wear white after Labor Day. Every single person is uniquely minded. If I wanted to be around, watch, or listen to people who are just like me I'd be in the room alone. So, unless a person is wildly offensive, immoral, illegal, or tries to tell me I'm wrong for how I believe, I'm not going to despise them even if I disagree with their views, whatever they may be.
I almost bought a Mustang instead of my M850.

Sedan, or that "other" one?
Had a deposit down on a Mustang GT Premium Performance Package that I cancelled when I realized I was settling instead of getting the car I really wanted.

I had a really good year compensation wise so I sprung for the 'German Mustang'

If you were 20 years younger i'd hunt you down and marry you.

 Thank you, but I don't think Mrs. Alfisti would appreciate that.

It's not all it's cracked up to be. My grandparents are in their 80s, and being heavier/unhealthy in their retirement years has made it much harder for them. It hurts them just to move and walk around, so they don't have much drive to do anything. When your body aches constantly, it's even more difficult to lose weight, so they likely never will. The ailments just associated with old age are amplified by being heavier and a lack of physical activity.
I've been hanging out with you guys for 9 years! Today is my BP Anniversary.

And we never had a fight! LOL.

Can you describe it?
It actually wasn’t half bad. It tasted like a chocolate malt-infused Coke. I think a chocolate lover would like it. Think Whoppers malted milk balls mixed with Coke.
