I used to buy Canfield's Diet Chocolate Fudge Soda. By itself it was okay, not too sweet. But, with a scoop of Breyer's vanilla ice cream, it was spectacular.

I confess it is very, very difficult for me to have conversations with people who use the word “like” every three words. It’s the aural equivalent of someone scratching their fingernails on a chalkboard.
I confess that I critique my own cooking hard even though I enjoy cooking and my other half thinks it tastes well.
Sedan_Clan wroteI don't know how LEOs can resist smacking someone upside the head when they say "I ain't done nothing wrong." It's a double-negative, and means that the person is admitting that they actually did something wrong.....I confess it is very, very difficult for me to have conversations with people who use the word “like” every three words. If I was a cat, curiosity would have killed me a long time ago. So, I saw this new Guinness 0% draft and figured that what the heck let's try it.
It looks like a Guinness, pours like a Guinness and smells like a Guinness.
The taste? Well, pour half a glass of real Guinness and top off the other half with water. It approximates what I experienced. Terrible... Don't bother.
I took one for the team. You're welcome.

I’ve been looking at today’s date and keep thinking what is November 13th? I know it’s something. Then it hit me. And that request came from his wife.
Carry on.
Carry on.

My parents just called to wish me a happy birthday today, and true to form, my mother wanted to remind me that I'm in my 44th year. See she does this for laughs as even though I just turned 43, I've technically started my 44th year. But I got her on a technicality - I wasn't born till sometime in the evening on the 13th so I'm technically not 43 until this evening and then after that I'll be in my 44th year. So I'm enjoying the next few hours of respite!

On November 13th, Felix Unger was asked to remove himself from his place of residence; that request came from his wife.

I have a car part hording issue.
Fall cleaning, found a box containing 5 E30 and 2 e36 EU clusters. reboxed and labeled, packed 3 chassis worth of various roof racks attachments into one box and labeled. Have hung from rafters 4 exhaust systems. Boxed all of my car cleaning supplies into one tote and brought inside before they freeze.

My wife has informed me that I can no longer answer my phone with "what the fuck do you want?"

wizardofOz wroteI do this too. Drives my kids nuts as well as my wife. They say "Dad, enjoy it"! I tried to explain to them that I do, and critique is part of the process.I confess that I critique my own cooking hard even though I enjoy cooking and my other half thinks it tastes well.
Then at work I had a revelation. We have been, over the last two years, working on a platform called Giant 5 voices. It's another personality typing system but this one has really stuck with me. It's posit is that everyone has 5 voice types that they do in a particular order:
Guardian
Pioneer
Creative
Connector
Nurturer
Your voice order determines how you think and interact with people. It's been really revelatory for many people I work with, and has nailed me to a tee. Case in point. I'm a Creative-Pioneer, and what that means is that:
"Being internal perfectionists, they can often fail to celebrate the 90% that has been achieved, focusing instead on the 10% that hasn’t!"
This is me with cooking. I never realized that me critiquing my own work would be viewed in a negative manner. To me, I get excited at the process of trial and error, at getting feedback and making a plan for improvement. To me, critiquing my own work doesn't mean I am not enjoying it, it means I'm even closer to making it perfect, and that's exciting!
In response, my daughter made me a cooking journal to take notes on recipes for changes I'd like to make in the future. They understand it's part of my process and don't feel bad about offering suggestions.

Confess?
Seem to suffer from dyslexia. When I saw that there was a photography/videography board, I originally read pornography/videography .
