My Steel Challenge gun with suppressor. Loudest .22 I'm ever been around. Every one should have one of these, Cheap to fire makes it a great warm up piece. (.22 in Steel Challenge matches are not holstered)



I used the term "suppressor" but it really a "compensator" to reduces muzzle rise and improve accuracy in rapid fire steel shooting

Preach! I was at a gun club as a member and was fairly disturbed by the behaviour there - nothing like what was mentioned, but it was clear that safety wasn't the top priority in determining who could be a member. Left that club as soon as viable. Interestingly, a few years after I left, there was a serious accident...probably more than one. And it came as precisely zero surprise to me.

My current club, they're basically safety Nazi's and I love it. I know dude next to me had to pass the same safety checks as I did and I feel a lot better about it.

But whatever. Mine shot groups consistent with what everyone else was getting. Just not as good as a good AR can do.
So once the notoriety wore off I couldn't see any reason to keep it and build a retro AR.
Gave that to my brother in law.

What problem
I like knives.
and OTF ones are great when your hands shake. You dont have to get your other hand near it to open and close it so no stabby stabby.

I like to collect auto openers but can't carry them in my state. Unfortunately just a toy to play with at home

Pardon my ignorance but I didn't think AKs were very accurate in any event and 6 inch groups seemed normal.

I switched to out the front knives back in 2013 after I couldn't open a folder because my hands were too sweaty during a fight.

AKs are very good at what they were made to do but they aren't a great range gun you want to hit small things far away.
Now if you want to shoot something through a car door get an AK.

I like Spydercos with the big hole too.

I was at the Social Security office which has an armed guard and set the detector off.
"I have a pocket knife" I showed it to him.
"Well keep it in your pocket"

Jury Duty they kept my keys at the security checkpoint because I have a tiny knife/bottle opener on the ring.
Wasn't there long. Guilty. Off with his head. Excused.

I've become a fan of Spyderco knives along with Laguiole, they make sense when a CC isn't appropriate.

I don’t have any Spydercos. Stupid question, what’s the hole for? I assume for help opening lock blades? Is there a reason for a hole on an auto opener?

I mainly stick with Bench Made for auto openers. My 154cm is pocket size. The Pagan is a bit large.

The Smith and Wesson M&P is huge and more of a novelty.

Gerber EZ outs are my everyday beaters. Also a couple of Bucks. They hold an amazing edge.

My father in law lived with us and was 90. He could not work his trusty Case knife anymore. I got him a Spyderco and he was good to go. You can catch the big hole with your thumb to use it one handed or use it for a good grip if you have limited dexterity in your hands.
I gave his to my son when he passed and got myself 2 like it.

The OTFs I have are a Kershaw Livewire, 2 Microtechs and a Guardian Tactical which is my favorite. I have a few other automatic knives like Boker Kalashnikovs, Protech and some cheap ones given to me.
I have a bunch of assisted opening and regular knives I collected over time just in passing.

Because the cowards at SCOTUS won't take on crucial 2A cases. They would rather take on easier cases that don't involve the Constitution and kick 2A cases down the road. They can also make their rulings more air tight to remove any ambiguity where these rogue courts/states can come up with something to exploit loop holes. Even if their laws are unconstitutional, they know how lawfare works.

Also, the current bench at SCOTUS is the laziest in history taking by far less cases than previous SCOTUS benches.

There's craftier policy here in CA that is effectively aimed at the same thing. None of the new gen glocks are on the CA roster - Glock is not interested in the cost associated with getting them there. I snatched up an old gen before they're impossible to get here in my grand old state.

I thought I read SCOTUS ruled the roster was unconstitutional...

I'm seriously thinking of selling my G26. My hand is way too small to handle it well.
