Nice thread! Still gaming some older irons myself—if it ain't broke, don't fix it. That R7 Quad is an absolute legend of a driver, too.
The Grint is hard to beat for tracking stats and handy features. Half Moon Bay is an awesome track, enjoy the round tomorrow!
For any golfers who applied for tickets to The Masters today is the day to check you account/inbox!!
Pretty dead in here. Hope it's because you all are playing every single day! lol
Kinda hot here in Phoenix area. But still getting out 3-4 times a week, ;)

Awesome! I need to make it out that way! Lots of great courses! I have about 4 that I want to play. I even bought a travel case for my bag and all the fixins!

Heading to Key West next weekend and will play one round down there. Looking forward to it!
I got out last week for the first time since September and shot a very respectable 93. (I am usually hovering around 100 so was ecstatic as it included 2 triple bogeys).

I need to play more! Also just learned the tour is coming to my city but its already sold out for May next year. Madness.
I haven't played a round in 10 years and tweaked my back midway through it, but I'm retiring in March and plan to start playing again occasionally.

My current set is 30 years old, so I decided I'm going to get some new ones more appropriate for a 65-year-old in preparation.

I'm on the cheap side so I had narrowed the irons down to a set of Tour Edge Hot Launch Max D Ironwoods or Cleveland Halo XLs. I was leaning towards the Tour Edge as they were generally a good $100-150 cheaper, but then I found the Cleveland’s on of all places on Amazon for a really good price and ordered a set today.

Next step will be a new higher loft driver to replace my ancient Taylor Made Burner Bubble. I've got a good local family owned Ski & Golf place that I'll plan on visiting to get some help on selecting this though :)

I’ll probably pick up a new 5 wood as well, as it will be the only steel shaft club I'll have with the new set.

I'm going to need to start a stretching regimen before hitting the course or even the driving range, as my muscles are horrendously tight!
