I’m curious to see what it ends up looking like. Do you do any finite element or hand analysis on your lightened designs? I’d be willing to do it for you but I’ve lost access to all of my custom advanced FE post-processing composite and metallic analysis tools (except hand analysis) due to my medical issues.

The best analysis is to mount it on the car and pray that it doesn't break LOL, I have a friend who has programs to test, sometimes I send him some stuff, I also want to make the rear hubs in grade5 titanium, also the LSD housing.

The pure testing approach is the way a lot of things were tested in the old days and even today (e.g., the SpaceX Starship).

We design a lot of critical parts, such as flexures in a kinematic or quasi-kinematic mounts, composite tube plug fittings, on-orbit servicing mechanisms, etc., with ti-6al-4v on space vehicles. The detailed design approach using FEA is a great approach and captures a lot of failure modes that could have resulted in costly failures; however, with space vehicle hardware it’s best to find failure modes with detailed analyses and/or test on the ground because an on-orbit failure can result in an end-of-mission failure. Two of the last programs I worked were GEO and LEO servicing missions using two 7-DOF robotic arms to capture, refuel and service space vehicles already on-orbit to extend their mission lives or, for example, fix a payload that had a deployable mechanism that got stuck by a thermal blanket during deployment, etc.
I've had the YCFM V2 for a couple of years now (bought from euro connects gb). 2009, e92, 6-speed; No track time, and not a ton of miles (not my daily) but plenty of spirited back road driving and I plan to add track time to the resume in 2025. So far, no vibes, no adverse issues and no reason not to do it. There is a bit more NHV due to the directness of the solid 1 piece design but I think I prefer that now. I definitely felt better engine response and the engine seemed more eager to rev. I believe it's around a 19 or 20lb weight savings which in rotational mass terms is significant. I thought I'd lose the ability to "chirp" 3rd gear (silly I know) due to the reduced momentum/rotational mass but that hasn't occurred. I do have a little flywheel chatter if I don't drive the car perfectly but that was present prior to install and just just slightly increased (again the NVH thing) but I think that's a common thing w/ manuals in these cars.

1302mm I believe. But the BMW part on real OEM says 1331. I have my drive shaft here and just measured it at ~51.25" or ~1301mm. I have a PST shaft that wasn't made correctly at all I am getting rid of, I would like to pick up a shaft from you if that is possible for 2018 440i xdrive. I have a 105mm guibo.

Everything's already been invented, and without music.
I installed the Mfactory cf driveshaft and everything seems ok except for a noise during heavy deceleration. Kinda like its rubbing on something. Has anyone dealt with something similar?

If it were me, I'd inspect it ASAP. If it is rubbing on something, that's a ticking time bomb.

Check your heat shield clearances...
