Come on, we are more than half way to .500 and wildcard contention.

SKOL!
I love the positive outlook. I just haven't trusted the Vikes to be superbowl contenders since the 2009 and 1998 seasons. Now, if we come out of the bye week and stick it to Detroit and get a big win then maybe there is something here. I also wanna believe as I bought a ticket in Vegas this past May that pays out 66:1 if the Vikes win the superbowl.

its a year for the cowboys!!!

This is one of the teams of all time!!!
Still not sure what to think of my Eagles yet. They have all the makings of a team that could pull it together and run the table, or fall to complete sh*t and need to be blown up in the off season. It seems like this trade deadline may actually have some intrigue with some bigger names on the block - Davante Adams, Travis Etienne, Max Crosby, Hassan Reddick? For once it might actually impact the balance of power in the 2nd half of the season.

Get AJ and Devonta back in the fold and at full strength with Saquon and they will be dangerous. They need to sure up their pass defense or score 30+ points a game with their offense. It's a very long season and so much is still yet to change as the playoffs approach. In their division, I think the Commanders will regress, Cowboys will stabilize and should be a playoff team, now for the Giants they aren't good.
You’re right the Giants are not good and I’m tired of it. I can only hope they improve the roster or another GM will be out again….. The glory years seem like a long time ago
Cowboys just look pathetic!! No defense, no run game, and an overpaid QB! Should have tried to sign Derrick Henry!!

Thinking after today's game they are going to be re thinking some strategy.

I can't say squat my Pat's are abysmal again this year
Should have given some of Dak’s money to Brandon Aubrey! Probably the best and most consistent player on the team!
Is Dallas that bad or is Detroit that good? Prolly a combination....looking forward to Detroit- Minn game.

lakefront's user avatarlakefront …..I honestly think it’s the Cowboys. We can’t stop the run, and our pass defense isn’t much better. Granted we have injuries on D, but I think it’s a combination of injuries and having a new defensive coordinator (Zimmer). Offensively we have NO run game whatsoever, and Dak hasn’t proven that he’s worthy of his new contract. Cowboys should have tried to sign Henry in the off-season, but our wonderful GM / Owner had other thoughts.

Great win by the Lions today! They played a great game and gave the Cowboys fits! Give credit where credit is due. Hate that they lost Hutchinson!
I think you are correct in saying the main problem with Cowboys is the owner. Ol Jer just cares about himself, doesn't really seem to want to do what's best for HIS team.
The Cowboys are a mess. Jerry Jones needs to sell (or just hand over the football OPS to a new GM), Mike Zimmer is past his prime and is too angry, McCarthy had his day at Green Bay. Clean house. They have plenty of talent but not good leadership to keep it all together.

Is it possible for all 4 NFC north teams to make the playoffs? All the teams look really good. This coming Sunday will be a great test to see where the Lions and Vikings are at.

Its just overall a bad situation.

All the injuries in the secondary, we are starting a CB that has never been on an active roster in 5 seasons, whos playing because our 5th round rookie is injured, who is playing because our #2 cb is injured, have created a defense where there is a glaring need for big plays to stop teams which leads to guys playing hero ball and not playing disciplined football, which is what you need to do vs a good team.

From there, our offense turns in to a "you need to make big plays and score" because our defense isnt stopping anyone, and like most QBs, when they have to make high risk, high reward plays, it rarely turns out well.

We've seen it throughout Daks career, where when the offense needs to make up for a piss poor defense, it fails, and we saw it with Romo's career as well.

You add in the bad offensive scheme and playcalling, our WRs are bottom of the league in separation and dak is at the top of the league in tight window throws, and Dak and the WRs need to be perfect all game long to do anything.

I havent fully been on the "McCarthy needs to go" train yet, but after yesterday, it is very clear he needs to go. Unfortunately, I dont think we have a coach that could step up in to the HC or OC role and be any improvement, so I think McCarthy probably finishes out the season. For next season, we need to look at some of these hot OCs. Every week you see OCs scheming guys wide open and QBs are able to make easy completions. Grab one of them and this team could be great with Dak.

Hell, Lions OC had goff getting wide open easy throws downfield all game and has made Goff look like an elite QB. Jerry has never been shy about throwing truck loads of money at coaches, try and get Ben Johnson in the offseason.

The 4 teams in the NFL with the best point differential are the 4 teams in the NFC North.
Does Aaron Rodgers think that all of his receivers are Davante Adams that know his little nuances for pass plays or does he just not have it anymore? There certainly is some truth to his guys needing more reps and losing last year was tough but the Jets passing game looks bad and it seems Rodgers just assumes everyone is on his level. Mike Williams for sure looks like trash. That is two games in a row where the games are essentially ended on an INT with a pass intended for Williams. Whatever it is it makes me happy as I think Rodgers is a tool.
I could not BELEIVE with :27 in the half Rodgers threw that Hail Mary. Cost me $110 in a pool. Broadcasters had to go all in on all his great passes from the past, I figured he was just going to kneel down.

LUCKILY, they missed the FG from close so it stayed 0-0 for the 3rd and I at least won one quarter. If only that final INT could have been pick-6!!!!
Well, now that the band is back together (Adams traded to Jets) let's see what happens. Personally don't think much will change. They may win a couple more games but the Jets have completely mortgaged their future by trading for these dudes that are past their prime.

Dang, I did not see that. Adams is still really good but feels like the Jets are letting Rodgers run the show which I don't see how that will work out. Are they going to go and sign Randall Cobb now too??
Amari Cooper to the Bills. That should really help Buffalo.
And now you got Jerry blasting radio show hosts on 105.3 The Fan out of Dallas for asking some specific questions about some of his decision making. Sounds like he got his feelings hurt today! Wants all the praise when things go his way, but can’t handle the criticism!

Probably one of the strongest divisions, if not the strongest in the league! 👍🏻
