JMcLellan wroteRoger’s is a narcissist and not a great leader. A complete primadonna w a long history of calling out teammates. He was in EGYPT during minicamp. Brady or the Mannings would have been leading by exampleDoes Aaron Rodgers think that all of his receivers are Davante Adams that know his little nuances for pass plays or does he just not have it anymore? There certainly is some truth to his guys needing more reps and losing last year was tough but the Jets passing game looks bad and it seems Rodgers just assumes everyone is on his level. Mike Williams for sure looks like trash. That is two games in a row where the games are essentially ended on an INT with a pass intended for Williams. Whatever it is it makes me happy as I think Rodgers is a tool.
JMcLellan wroteat 2-4, they probably need to win 8 of the last 11 to squeak in to the playoffs, and unless Rodgers and Adams have one of the greatest 11 game stretches in the history of the NFL, I dont see it happening.Dang, I did not see that. Adams is still really good but feels like the Jets are letting Rodgers run the show which I don't see how that will work out. Are they going to go and sign Randall Cobb now too??
This move makes no sense from a team building position, a short term decision or a long term decision, and seems to only be to appease Rodgers, who I'm willing to bet isnt going to even be there next season.
They were not good enough 4 years ago in Green Bay when they played for a good organization
Rodgers is only doing what the Jets organization will let him; and that’s mortgage their future for the present season…maybe next as well. The talent from Rodgers is still there, but he failed to put in the work in the off season to translate that talent out on the field with the Jets. Garrett Wilson has to be frustrated. Not only is Lazard trusted over him and preferred, but now Adams is inbound and will definitely take more targets from him. The Jets will probably make the playoffs but I think they’re one-and-done.
I don’t think Roger’s is nearly as good as he was a few year’s ago. He’s no longer mobile and his selfish ways have caught up. He was terrible against Minny and Denver. Nine points at home, please…..
Gonna be hard for the afternoon game to top the Lions-Vikes and the Packers Texans......woof.
Vikes let that one slip away...
TXSTYLE wroteThat 3rd and 4 pass where Darnold smoked it too high over Jefferson with about 3 minutes to go......getting that first down could have sealed the game for the Vikes. Darnold missed some other opportunities too.Vikes let that one slip away...
Our defense had some oh oh moments but goll dang the Lions offense is really good. Great game though.
Vikes and Lions showed they are legit SB contenders. Who in the NFC is better than them now? Great game that could have gone either way.
Some really good defense played by Packers yesterday and I honestly can't remember thinking that for a damn long time. As the youngest team in the league and with a new D system, think they will only get better. Jordan Love needs to tame some of his Favreish instincts, but some great throws too.
Niners might get competitive if they get healthy but they just don't seem the same this year. The league seems as wide open this year as its been in very long time.

lakefront wroteThe path to the superbowl in the NFC does seem to be pretty wide open this year. The 49'ers might have a shot with CMC coming back possibly week 10. Tampa had some mojo going but with their injuries sustained last night to their top receivers who knows. Detroit is the best NFC team. In the AFC, the Chiefs and Ravens are on top.Vikes and Lions showed they are legit SB contenders. Who in the NFC is better than them now? Great game that could have gone either way.

I thought Cooper Kupp would be traded this week, or at least riding the bench while the Rams shop some trades. Not only is he playing but looks like Puka Nacua will also play. The Rams are sending all of it at the Vikes tonight.
Also, from a fantasy perspective I have Nacua but I think he will be eased back into the mix so I'm going to have him sit this week out. Hopefully I do not regret that.

This year is wide open no dominant team. Someone has to prove they can beat Coach Fumblerooski…..
TXSTYLE wroteThis surely didn't help! This ref should be investigated immediately, and if no dirt found, fired for incompetence. It's crap like this that is a horrible look when the NFL has chosen to get into bed with legalized gambling.Vikes let that one slip away...
KevinC wroteLol. Yes, this should have been called and the Vikes given a fair chance to tie the game. Either way the Rams were the better team on Thursday night though. This surely didn't help! So Lions and Chiefs in the superbowl this season? The Lions might not lose again this year...... Aside from those two teams things look wide open.
Sorry to the Cowboys fans but Dallas looks broken. Something has to change to save their season and my vote is new coaching.

Bengals are done. They need to fire Zach Taylor and rebuild.

GERMAN M3 wroteExactly right. The owner decided after he bought the team that he was a better GM than anyone he could hire. Unbelievable.....and still won't admit he's whats wrong with the organization. Old Jer just gets to sit back and rake in the $$$$$ and blame someone else. Remember after last season, he was gonna be "all in?" No team got worse than Dallas....except the Jets?JMcLellan …. Cowboys are definitely broken! Have been for some time now. There is so much wrong in that organization! No run game, over paid QB, can’t stop the run game, granted defense has quite a few injuries, but Zimmer has not been the answer! Time for Jerry to step aside and hire a damn GM! We can sit here all day and argue the fact that the Cowboys should have brought in Derrick Henry, but Jerry had other ideas! Jerry, Jerry, Jerry….the achilles heel! Should have kept his mouth closed some 30 years ago! Ok, rant over!! Lions definitely looking like a well balanced team. Would have to give them the current nod.

kscarrol wroteI remember that one. That's the play that allowed coaches to challenge PI calls the next season.Kind of reminds us Saints fans of a pass interference non-call….
