It's hard to believe that he not at least heard from his inside people the idea of hiring a GM to build a team. He either has and doesn't care or only surrounds himself with people that only listen to him.Exactly right. The owner decided after he bought the team that he was a better GM than anyone he could hire. Unbelievable.....and still won't admit he's whats wrong with the organization. Old Jer just gets to sit back and rake in the $$$$$ and blame someone else. Remember after last season, he was gonna be "all in?" No team got worse than Dallas....except the Jets?

It seems like the Eagles are rounding into form. Hopefully the youth continues to impress and the team buys into the OC/DC schemes (ie Jalen can learn to play under center).
RE: Washington.... it kind of sucks when a hated rival lands a young QB who looks to be immensely skilled while also being really, really likable.

lakefront wrote@lakefront….Yeah, Ol Jerry has been in denial for quite some time. And as you stated, he won’t ever admit that he’s wrong. It’s hard being a Cowboys fan, and even harder sitting back watching the Puppet Master and his decision making!Exactly right. WTF was that 2-point attempt by the Giants last night??? It made zero sense when they were down by 8, and could have made it 7.
For the final score, that non-PAT cost me $110 too

Come on Texans....how do you let the Jets win after they fumbled that touchdown away. What a boneheaded play by the Jets receiver.
It was irritating seeing the Rodgers-Adams combo work. Vegas had the Jets favored by two points which I thought made no sense. Are the Texans not actually that good?

As a Bills fan, I don't normally root for the Jets...except when a Jets win will advance the Bills' playoff standings like beating the Texans did last night. You gotta respect Garrett Wilson's "Holy Shin!" TD grab, no matter which team you're rooting for.....
JMcLellan wroteThe thing I've seen with the Texans this year is Stroud running for his life on any passing play. They just can't seem to pass block for him this year. And that's with Mixon running really well. Now with their top two receivers out, Stroud needs some new health insurance.Come on Texans....how do you let the Jets win after they fumbled that touchdown away. Houston has serious o line issues. The Jets are going no where, I’m sure Belicheck is thrilled with that. I would not be surprised with a Chief Lions Super Bowl although the ravens and Packers have a good shot. Too many injuries and penalties in the NFL these days the product isn’t as good as it used to be.
Time to sweep the shitty Giants. LOL!!
The Cowboys continue to be broken....come on Jerry, blow things up.
My Vikes had an ugly first half last night but rolled in the 2nd half as I expected they would against the Colts. Maybe one of these days the refs will actually call a facemask or roughing the passer call when Darnold is getting rocked? I'm all for rewarding a bad-ass play as the Colts defender completely smoked through the O-line and made a play but by rule that is a roughing call.

EDWYER wroteDang, I was hoping my Vikes would pick up another defensive back before the deadline and Lattimore is a good one.

Couple of thoughts on this lovely Friday morning:
Jerry Jones once again proves the collective point he needs a GM: sends a 4th round pick to Carolina for WR Jonathan Mingo.....who?? What a disaster.
The Ravens aren't that good of a team aside from their offense, but they keep winning. Burrow was able cook last night, and all the late undisciplined penalties on the Ravens was a bad look. The Ravens aren't going to make a playoff run unless they clean it up and I think the Bengals are actually a better team.

I’m not a big fan of Burrow but the guy plays hard and is fearless. He and Chase were great last night but they couldn’t run the ball should have kept Mixon. Lamar is great as well but need to see him do it in the playoffs. Still looking like Chiefs and Lions
