I actually like Mahomes and have since college but the Refs are blatantly siding with them.

That's how you are looking at it, but not everybody agrees that it's an actual coordinated conspiracy by the league. Certainly, there have been questionable calls in the final minutes of several games. But even on questionable calls, many football fans agree with the call and many think it's a conspiracy. If you read the comments on The Youtube on a given questionable call, there is never consensus. In each and every case, commenters are divided. We are all guilty of looking a game based on who we want to win. That's human nature. The refs are either making a bad call that hurts our team or they are making a bad call that impacts a bet we made on the game.

The refs have an incredibly hard job to do. No matter what they decide, somebody is not going to like it. Do they make bad calls? Of course they do. They make errors just like the players and the coaches do. But, I think over the course of a game or a season, bad calls go both ways for a team. Personally, I don't think there is a pattern that rises to the level of a league-controlled conspiracy.

In overall penalties, the Chiefs get penalized plenty. There is no statistical evidence that they get penalized less than any other team. In fact, they are penalized more than a lot of teams.

In this particular game, the Raiders had plenty of chances to win. They just didn't.

Believe what you like, but I'm just not jumping on the tinfoil hat train. I cannot imagine why the league would want to systematically cheat in favor of one team over another or even if they did, how they would get away with it.

My high school coach used to tell us never to whine when a call was made against us. He told us instead: "Win by enough so bad calls don't change the outcome of the game." Apparently the Raiders players didn't have a coach like that in high school.

I suspect that one of the Jets players will soon be receiving an unexpected fine from the No Fun League for criticizing the refs on social media after their game yesterday, and read news reports speculating that the dude who leveled the Jaguars QB will be suspended for the rest of the season because he had a previous $11K fine for punching a player on the opposing sideline earlier this year.....

I love the fact that ESPN is all over Russel Wilson's nuts saying he is the best and blah blah blah. The dude played against the worst defense in all of the NFL. Of course he is going to put up those kind of numbers. Dude couldn't even do shit all year and putting up mediocre numbers against decent defenses.

Well, its ESPN. Nothing matters to them except what's happened the last 5 minutes. But Wilson is actually having a pretty good season. He's certainly not as washed up as Denver Dickhead made him out to be. And passing numbers can be a little misleading. Look at the stats Jameis put up last night....almost 500 yds passing? But still lost the game.

The refs have awful this year to the point of embarrassment but I don’t believe they are favoring anyone. Not even Goodell is dumb enough to mess with the integrity of the game.

The Packers vs Lions game tonight on Thursday Night Football should be interesting, for all of the ramifications in the NFC Norris Division and NFC playoffs picture in general.....

It was a pretty good game. The Lions were ballsy going for it on 4th down before kicking the field goal to end the game. That is who they are I guess but what if that doesn't work in the playoffs or superbowl? I feel like the Lions are going to win or lose the superbowl based on a play like that.

This year is nuts seeing teams that are barely above .500 going into the playoffs as division leaders.

I’m impressed with Campbell in how he motivates and cares for his players but his constant risk taking cost them a shot at Super Bowl last year and going for it with 50 seconds left was flat out stupid

Back at the ranch the Giants embarrassed themselves again today. Someone flew a banner over the stadium asking Mara to fix the mess….. at least the 400 game was damn good two real good teams.

And yet teams like my Vikings (SKOL!) are 11-2 and just wildcards while 10-3 Buffalo clinches their Division.

With your Wild Card Dreams on the line... Once again, Dallas focks it up! McCarthy must go. And Pooper Rush just sucks. I've never seen a more unathletic QB. Why not at least try Trey Lance??? At least he gives you athleticism and can run!

To be honest, I've never been a Cowboy fan. I grew up a a LA Rams fan and then a 49er fan after I moved to the Bay Area. The Cowboys were always the one to beat. Then, this whole America's Team nonsense.

That said, I was watching the game last night and seeing the Cowboys really pushing to win the game and I sort of found myself rooting for them.

Anyway, then they panned to Jerry Jones sitting by himself in his suite. I think he needs to fire his General Manager.

What's the problem? I thought Dallas was "tanking." They should be glad to lose. Then apparently Ol Jer said they would have been better off playing for a punt return than a punt block??? WOW.

Good old Uncle Jerry never been the same since he rudely showed Jimmy Johnson the door. Talk about a bad business decision. Rule 1 of business surround yourself w great people and keep them.

Jerry Jones' number 1 rule for running his business is that he does all the running of it. Then once he cannot (death might be the only way he lets go at this point) he will appoint his kids to do it, right? I don't think this BS ends with Jerry.

PS- I am not a Cowboys fan. I just see a team that could be better if Jerry was out of the way.

And as a REALISTIC Cowboys fan, I completely agree JMcLellan Things in Dallas won’t change until Jerry is gone or hires a GM. McCarthy and various past coaches have just been puppets in Jerry’s World. As long as he can pull on the strings, Dallas will be a talented and mediocre team. Just my .02 cents!

I’m really hoping for some solid playoff football this year. Like the other major sports football has to many teams and not enough talent. The owners are in for the money for the most part. There are really only about 6 real contenders in entire NFL

From this Bills fan, let me just say "you're welcome" to the NFC for slaying the 11-1 Lions in their home den.

Over 1,000 yards of total offense between the two teams, and interesting until the end.....
