Ultimate German Car Meet - 2026 - Photos from the event

Hi all,

You would have seen my previous threads on the largest BMW meetings held in the UK at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, named Ultimate BMW. Well yesterday was their sister event, Ultimate German Car Meet, which, as the name suggests is for all German marques.

As I happened to be passing the area, I popped along for a short while with camera in hand to cover the brand we love.

In the mid 80's, South Africa was excluded from the M3 - so we built our own variant of this same E30 platform. It was badged "333i", and about 200 units were made. It was an absolute beast of a car, and I had the pleasure of driving one for an afternoon of hot fun. Dog leg 5 speed, breathing hard!
