Bought training wheels for my Kobalt 80v whipper snipper which is kind of heavy.

Lot easier to handle but will put some wait on the head to conter balance the battery weight.

Wrong thread. It should be in the "You know you're old when..." thread. :D
We bought Hagen a new bed. He has to have surgery on his elbows from laying on the tile. He likes the coolness of the tile. The new bed has a chilling mat so hopefully he will use it.

A Hydrometer for my indoor plants. It's VERY difficult to gage how much water soil is holding and some plants require more or less. Tips device has been very helpful. 🙂

And there you go.

Confession: actually, the wood was scrap at a local lumber yard. I didn't actually buy it.

Thanks! This car is a big step up from the F-PACE.

Why don't you post more pics of it here and tell us about it?

I was just looking through the camera roll, and the only other photo I have so far is this one (next to my Z).

Here it is still sporting the temporary plate and the registration stuck to the window.

This is actually my wife's car. The one who's famous quote is, "I'm trying to teach myself patience, but it's taking to long!" This is an xDrive50e. Her requirements were:
  • xDrive50e
  • Blue Tanzanite
  • Extended leather
She wanted to get this before the G65 switchover, and we were too late to place an order. So it took some patience to find one. It actually came from the Bay Area, and we took it home on July 3. Our CA did a really good job finding one for us and getting it into our hands.

I had a 240V 50A circuit installed for charging, but the electrician did a subpar job installing the brick: the cable didn't reach the charging port. 😐

And today we drove it to the lumber yard to get a block of wood.

I'm sure I'll take more pictures.
Prime day discounted Pixel watch. I had a smart ring but lost it. Hopefully this won't slip off quite as easily. :mad0259:

Modern technology is really quite amazing.

Congrats! She's a beauty!
I am really into Home Decor and Furnishings. I especially enjoy Art: Paintings, Metal, Vases, etc. My long time veteran members here also know I love my garden and flowers.
I recently acquired this. Art speaks to me. I had to have it! Oil on canvas...

Personal Air Conditioner. 🧊
So I work on my Garden a lot and I've been considering one of these for a couple of years now. I decided to grab this particular one after some YouTube reviews.
It's surprisingly effective! It has these cooling plates that cover the back and sides of the neck that get pretty cold and stay that way even when you're sweating. Plus it has 2 powerful fans on both sides blowing up into your face. $200 well spent.
That would be great at a summer concert

Explain?

I've been (very remotely) considering picking up a used Macan S. Wife is in favor (but then again, she drives a Boxster S).

Not much in the small SUV space interests me, but not sure I want to drop ~$60k on a used SUV that'll live outdoors.

R.
We replaced the G05 X5 with a used Macan S. The wife loves it. I like it OK (I don't care for SUVs generally). I DIY oil changes, brakes, etc. so the Porsche tax is reduced.

It was CPO and low 70s, IIRC. My only gripes are no HUD and the steering is a bit high effort, tiring on long trips.
Two lamps. One for my music room and one for my music library. On special on Amazon.

Aranet 4 CO2 Detector

We keep the door to our bedroom closed at night so the cats don't drive us nuts. But I've been wondering about the CO2 level when the temps in the house don't cause the a/c or heat to run. When that happens, there's no air circulation. The first two nights I ran this without running the circulation fan, the levels topped 1000ppm. The first night it even topped 1500ppm. So now I've been turning on the recirculating fan in the HVAC just to move the air. The readings have stayed below 600ppm, which is fine.
