BMWs new model naming is just confusing, especially with the EV M-models that seems to ditch the i-branding completely.

They should do something like this:
M350i = gas
M350ie = gas PHEV
M350d = diesel
M350de = diesel PHEV
M350e = electric
M350h = hydrogen
Yeah, BMW’s new naming strategy really feels all over the place. Dropping the “i” for electric M models just makes things even more confusing.

There never was a "real" electric M so they are not dropping anything, they just decide how to name things going forward. And I believe we have not yet heard the final official names of the upcoming ICE and BEV M3 anyway, so they can still change their minds.
Does anyone have reliable info that G45 will get the 50e (PHEV) at launch?

Launch of what? The G45 X3 has already launched. Are you talking about this:
01/27: adds a hybrid model (non-US only).
Assuming with 50e you mean a B58 derived drivetrain, I'd say probably not and the above is likely going to be the same what the G60 will get (330e, i.e. B48).
Any idea when ventilated seats will be available on the NA5 iX3?

Has someone said they'll be available at any point?

With xDrive variant finally revealed, there are no further updates. As such G87 moved to “EOP” section.

Lots of people predicting a M2 CS Handschalter, since a CSL seems to be ruled out.

The G87 section in the first post disappeared the other day and hasn't returned yet. Is there a reason it was removed, or was it just an accidental deletion?

What should be there?
Seems like in Bmw there is no plan to reintroduce xDrive & manual transmission combo anytime soon
